Pirelli is one of those names that everyone associates with cars, sports and tyres. The brand's history goes hand in hand with the history of cars. Since their beginning, Pirelli tyres have accompanied vehicles and their drivers in the toughest conditions — at rallies, at races and during intensive everyday driving. The brand's tyres currently constitute the official equipment of Formula 1 cars.

The fact that Pirelli tyres are associated with the motorsport does not mean that the brand is not fitted on "ordinary" cars. On the contrary! The company has some very interesting products on offer for various types of drivers, be it summer tyres, winter tyres or even all-season tyres. This is evidenced by the many awards received from tests and positive user feedback.

Pirelli tyres can be successfully fitted to vehicles ranging from compact cars to typical sports models. These products are characterised by excellent performance, both in town and on the road, and resistance to wear. Pirelli tyres offer high performance in terms of safety, driving comfort and cost-effectiveness. These reliable tyres are for the discerning driver.

This brand has a lot to offer, including tyres for lorries, motorcycles and agricultural vehicles. These tyres also fall into the premium category.

Interesting facts:

Pirelli was founded by Giovanni Battista Pirelli in 1872, making it one of the oldest tyre manufacturers in the world. It is now considered the fifth largest tyre company. It also includes brands such as Metzeler, Formula, Courier and AGOM.

One of Pirelli's most recognizable initiatives is its famous calendar containing photographs of nude models, which is has published since the 1960s.

In the 1980s, the company invented and marketed low-profile tyres, which have become the most significant innovation since the introduction of the radial tyre.

Pirelli also has an architectural symbol in the centre of Milan — Pirelli Tower, the company's head office, a 127-m skyscraper, a masterpiece of post-war modernism that opened in 1960.

In the 1990s, Pirelli almost merged with Continental, but the prepared merger did not come to fruition.

The Pirelli name was used to sign a limited edition of the first-generation Volkswagen Golf in 1983. The Golf GTI Pirelli model was repeated in 1999 and 2007.

Pirelli has sponsored the Inter Milan football team for many years.

Our customers' opinions on Pirelli tyres:

    Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF3

It's a real hit, especially if you want a comfortable ride all year round without having to change tyres. The first thing that strikes you is the incredible ride comfort. The Jaguar has great handling in its own right, but these tyres really add that extra touch. Whatever the road surface, the car flows and vibration is minimal. On top of that, noise levels are surprisingly low, making every journey more enjoyable. As for grip, here Pirelli does a great job. On dry tarmac they stick to the road like glue, but I felt the real difference in the wet. Even in heavy rain, I felt in full control of the car - zero slippage, zero uncertainty. Braking is confident and effective, which gives a great See more > feeling of safety. After several months of use, virtually no wear is visible. Pirelli promises a long service life, and so far all indications are that they are keeping their word. These tyres are perfect for my car and their quality is evident with every kilometre. Highly recommended!

    Pirelli Cinturato All Season SF2

Tyres after buying in the first season felt great on snow and mud. Felt like I could drive everywhere, extra traction. But the following year it kept getting worse and worse. This winter, it's very slippery, poor grip on snow. As for fuel, it does poorly too. At least they're quiet and in normal summer conditions perform great, even in the rain. Average for the price, I wouldn't take again. See more >

    Pirelli Cinturato Winter

On this tire, I traveled 11,000 km. I bought it because I was very happy with the summer version of Cinturato, it's the first Pirelli winter product I use. The tire seems to be really quiet, as the producer rightly congratulates. At a speed of 160 km / h, the noise is quite liveable and does not bother at all. It's also very economical for a winter tire. Traction on wet and dry very well. The tire looks very soft (typical of the Cinturato family) which is an advantage, sometimes a disadvantage, if someone does not like this feeling especially with tight turns. I have reservations about the work of the tires on the snow. He usually writes badly. When braking the average force, the See more > ABS is engaged, the tire loses grip. It does not "cut" in the snow despite the impressive symmetrical fir tread. In this respect, it is significantly lower than the GY Ultra Grip model, which I will probably come back to. A tire that is worth being recommended for wintry winters, especially when someone drives mainly on the highway like me. I consider the abrasiveness after traveling 11 000 km with a big plus. Pirelli P7 Cinturato Blue

Tyres have excellent driveability, but durability is definitely not on Polish roads - within 3 months of purchase I had to replace three of them. I do not drive either aggressively or off-road - normal use on urban and sometimes motorway . At the first damaged tyre, I thought - ok, maybe I drove into the pot hole and did not notice, but next time I paid attention to whether I did drove into next pothole. That did not happen, however, and the damagde appeared on the sidewall, which automatically made me spend money for new one. After changing all set for Bridgeston, this situation did not happen again. In summary - if someone drives only and only on motorways and new urban roads, I See more > recommend it - roads stick to one another as glued. However, on roads outside the city - obviously asphalt roads, the tyres are very quickly to be thrown away. Summing up - if someone drives only and only on motorways and new urban roads, I recommend it - roads stick to one another as glued. However, on roads outside the city - of course asphalt roads, tires are very quickly to be thrown away.
