  Pirelli Cinturato Winter

  On this tire, I traveled 11,000 km. I bought it because I was very happy with the summer version of Cinturato, it's the first Pirelli winter product I use. The tire seems to be really quiet, as the producer rightly congratulates. At a speed of 160 km / h, the noise is quite liveable and does not bother at all. It's also very economical for a winter tire. Traction on wet and dry very well. The tire looks very soft (typical of the Cinturato family) which is an advantage, sometimes a disadvantage, if someone does not like this feeling especially with tight turns. It does not "cut" in the snow despite the impressive symmetrical fir tread. In this respect, it is significantly lower than the GY Ultra Grip model, which I will probably come back to. A tire that is worth being recommended for wintry winters, especially when someone drives mainly on the highway like me. I consider the abrasiveness after traveling 11 000 km with a big plus.   Quite a noisy tire and they are firmer than the previous winter tires I've had, but the grip wise they are really good at. Despite the frequent and abundant snowfall and deep accumulations, the tires have never failed to cope easily, in fact, I have not yet seen the light of the dsc light up for loss of grip. See more >

  Good all round with winter tires - recommended by Subaru. Grips well on snow and ice (! Do not expect miracles), and still manages well when things heat up and dry - just what is needed in our changing British weather.
