Pirelli SottoZero 2

My choice fell on the Pirelli Sottozero 2 after reading some tests. And after nearly 5000 km leads them honestly recommend to anyone. They are quiet and very good performance, both in the dry and the wet. I had the opportunity this year to roll in the snow and I was pleasantly surprised to traction. Depending on your car consumes about 0,5-0,7l more compared to summer tires, but I think it's more a matter of lower temperatures. I have not noted sustainability, rather led to say something more about wear. Appearance is purely subjective, but in my opinion it is ok. Great tires. I was afraid that the car will fit only Japanese Japanese tire by driving culture but Pirelli Sottozero 2 did not disappoint. Italians provide tires that actually encourage aggressive driving on snow and slush. Cornering is pure pleasure. After short testing capabilities, you can probably skip the tires in the road / asphalt gravel without any fear. Hard, they seem to wipe at a moderate pace. These tires ride first winter (a season is still ongoing), if a comprehensive assessment would be possible after prolonged use. Very good grip in the fast corners. Car is stuck on the road. Slighly stronger than summer tires (Pirelli P7), but that does not seem to bother me a lot. I highly recommend these tires, excellent quality brand, bought these to match a set for the rear 245/35/18 who are here in England is the only tire available in the winter tread , Pirrelli seem to be the only manufacturer that makes, but I suspect the rest of Europe get a better choice. While most people have trouble with snow chains we drove in the alpine mountains with only the tires offering the grip we needed. In the UK, they feel reassuringly grippy on wet and icy roads. Runflat - so work with BMW - and feels comfortable in the dry. Highly recommended! Read more Collapse
