Pirelli P Zero Rosso

I had the reinforced version with an index of 94W in size 225/45R17. The tyres give quite good steering precision - great front wheel feel. They are a bit nervous on ruts. On dry surfaces they are very confident in handling if the road is rutless. They do not chip at all if you have effective shock absorbers (I use Bilstein B6 SPORT). Spring comfort is quite high in relation to the size and profile. Noise level is moderate, but they are not soundproof tyres. Overall, I enjoyed driving on them until they got bent. All four got radial run-out and balancing didn't help. At this point, the tread was only 1mm worn - no chipping. I had to get rid of them because of their crookedness. For this reason I do not recommend them, as you do not know if this does not apply to other units. They were perfectly even to begin with. I have driven a long distance on these tyres once and several shorter distances and around town. The tyres work superbly on all surfaces. They behave as they should on entry and when leaving a bend, sometimes they just squeal when it is too sharp. On wet or dry pavement, the ride is the same, which means no stress. One drawback may be that the tyres start to make a little noise at higher speeds, but this could also be the fault of our roads. I've been delaying the purchase of winter tyres for a long time, which is why I've also found them to be very good on slightly icy roads, with none of the rolling resistance mentioned above. In general, I would recommend these tyres for a car with similar parameters, I had Bridgestones in my previous car, but it was a sports car, everyone will find a different tyre better. he tyre simply sticks to the road, and compared to e.g. the ecological Michelin tyres, I feel as if I had 4-wheel drive. It is difficult to break the grip, the car handles like a string and brakes literally on the spot. More than once I had the opportunity to test their grip in extreme situations and I was not disappointed. The downside of the tyres is their hardness, rolling resistance which translates into higher fuel consumption and faster wear of the tread (after 40,000 km there is about 4-5 mm left). However, it is worth it, for me safety is the priority and I am willing to pay a little extra for it. Overall, I can say that this is the best tyre I have had in terms of use. The car was mostly driven on motorways and there it performed really well. In dry or wet conditions it makes no difference. It's worse off-road, especially when it rains, but it's only a road tyre so it's not a flaw. I had it fitted as standard to my Volvo XC60. Trips on the Masurian gravel went by without any major damage. Also trips to south-eastern Europe. The only drawback (although it may be a car issue) is the serration. The tyre is sensational on dry and wet pavement in comparison with the F1 GSD3 it beats it on wet pavement, and for me it is the most important parameter. Good tyres but not for the thrifty! Handling properties are good in the dry as well as in the wet, but the tread disappears in a flash! Another advantage is that they are quiet. After 55,000 km of not extreme driving, they have to be disposed of, in fact they should have been replaced sooner! I can honestly recommend these tyres, having changed the tyres from also branded and high end tyres with a speed index of 300 km/h to these Pirelli P Zero Rosso tyres the car drives superbly. It is noticeably quieter, minimally more comfortable (better damping of potholes) but above all the handling has changed for the better. It handles much better in corners when driven aggressively. The tyres perform very well in dry conditions. Cornering at higher speeds is no problem for a car that weighs more than two tonnes. The car stops smoothly when braking. They have not been tested on wet pavement, as I drive carefully during adverse weather conditions. After half a year of use, the tyres show little sign of wear. After 30,000 the front tyres had to be replaced (worn down and visible serration). Superb road holding in corners. I like to go crazy, but in corners they never once made a noise. The car drives like a charm and the passengers stay in their seats. Now I'm going to try the Goodyear EAGLE F1 - they've got good reviews, but I'd prefer something more durable than one-season tyres. Excellent tyre, aesthetically the design is not exciting, but it makes up for it with the qualities, excellent grip when cornering, ensures precise entry, you can push the car and be sure it maintains the course. Lasted approx 10,000 miles on the back of a 911 doing mostly motorway and National roads which included lots of spirited driving. They wouldn't be as good as Michelin in terms of grip but wear better and are cheaper. I would defiantly recommend them. Read more Collapse

Comfort and safety at a high level, but hit me two defective tires in August (vibration on the steering wheel) and of course the manufacturer is not confirmed the complaint.
