Dunlop tyres are in the premium market segment and many drivers have long associated the brand with its involvement in motorsports. The company has years of experience gained under the toughest conditions, such as at those encountered at racetracks. Dunlop-brand tyres are characterised by their very high performance and they make use of state-of-the-art technological breakthroughs, ensuring you can enjoy a safe and comfortable ride.

These tyres have sports in their DNA, and it should therefore come as no surprise that Mercedes-AMG has chosen the company as its official partner for technology applied in motorsports. Other premium brands such as Audi, Volkswagen, BMW, Renault and Jaguar also choose Dunlop to improve the performance of their luxury vehicles. The capabilitires of Dunlop tyres are regularly appreciated and praised in tests carried out by leading motoring organisations.

Dunlop tyres will appeal to drivers who like to drive dynamically and expect something more than just reliability from their tyres. If you like to feel the thrill of driving a sports car, and driving is your passion, then the tyres Dunlop has to offer are certainly for you.

Interesting facts:

The company's beginnings date back to John Boyd Dunlop, who was the first to patent the pneumatic tyre, a tyre filled with air for improved comfort. Initially, the tyres were used for bicycles.

In the early 1960s, Dunlop engineers discovered aquaplaning, which enabled the development of tyres that drain water away quickly, significantly improving safety on wet surfaces.

Another of Dunlop's exceptional achievements is 3S technology, which allows the development of tyres that are safe, comfortable and resistant to wear, all at the same time. This solution led to a new standard in the production of tyres.

Dunlop developed one of the first tyres that enabled continued driving after a puncture — this was the Denovo model, equipped with a DSST system, introduced in the 1970s.

When it comes to motorsports, the company can be proud of it’s long series of successes in the gruelling 24 Hours of Le Mans race, as well as 8 championship titles and 82 wins in the Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Our customers' opinions on Dunlop tyres:

    Dunlop Winter Sport 5

I highly recommend this tire. At first, I wanted to say that I was shocked by the beauty of the car, my old tires had a different profile was smaller 17/45/225 and now 18/40/225 and a plus. Many people advised me against this exchange, but I put on my side and I did not listen. The tire is very quiet, the combustion has not increased, the car stands beautifully, both on a wet surface and on a dry surface. I recommend this tire - quality and price for 5. See more >

    Dunlop SP Sport Bluresponse

Very good quality tires at an affordable price. When you work aggressively on wet surfaces, they work perfectly and I feel that they "stick" better than on dry surfaces. In a rear-wheel drive car with a highway speed greater than 200 km / h, after 30,000 km, there is not much tread wear. In all good conscience, I recommend Dunlop SP Bluresponse tires. See more >

    Dunlop SP Winter Response 2

These tires have not disappointed me yet and deserve to be recommended. They do not belong to cheap, but it is worth investing in them if you want to save fuel or unnecessary visits to a vehicle tinsmith. Even the experts recommend these tires, so apparently I did well that I bought them. They have shown themselves so well and I think a lot of miles are still on them. See more >

    Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT

I bought these tyres expecting to get quality and what I've got is slightly above average.. They are fitted to the back of my BMW in 275/30 ZR20. I previously had Toyo Proxes T1 Sport and if you compare these 2 tyres Toyo is far superior. Dry grip: No complaints, grips very well. Wet grip: Shocking! Can't take off aggressively without spinning the wheels, and my car is not even that powerful comparing to what this size is normally fitted to. Very disappointing after Toyo. Nearly impossible to spin the wheels with Toyo, they just stick to the road.. Ride is also more stiff after fitting these, a lot of comfort lost comparing to Toyo.. Fuel consumption is pretty much the same as it was See more > with Toyo. Seem to be wearing nicely though, have covered around 7000km and no visible wear as of yet.. Overall not what I've expected for the name and the price, but not the worst out there.
