Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT

I bought these tyres expecting to get quality and what I've got is slightly above average.. They are fitted to the back of my BMW in 275/30 ZR20. I previously had Toyo Proxes T1 Sport and if you compare these 2 tyres Toyo is far superior. Dry grip: No complaints, grips very well. Wet grip: Shocking! Can't take off aggressively without spinning the wheels, and my car is not even that powerful comparing to what this size is normally fitted to. Very disappointing after Toyo. Nearly impossible to spin the wheels with Toyo, they just stick to the road.. Ride is also more stiff after fitting these, a lot of comfort lost comparing to Toyo.. Fuel consumption is pretty much the same as it was with Toyo. Seem to be wearing nicely though, have covered around 7000km and no visible wear as of yet.. Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT the beginning surprised me. I was afraid of the behaviour in the wet conditions, I thought it would be worse than my old Pirelli P Zero Rosso 225 / 40ZR18 92Y, but fears fortunately turned out to be not true. The behaviour in the rain is predictable. On a dry road is a revelation. Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT sticks to the road like glued. At deserves a big plus is that the tyres are very quiet. They're great on big tyres. I read various articles and read that the Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT is characterized by resistance to abrasion, so I bought them and, most important I was not disappointed. I bought 255/35/18 and 225/40/18. Previously I used Nokian - horrible, PZero - good, Bridgestone - okay. In general, great price/quality ratio. They're quiet, stick to the road fantastically but slightly worse than Pzero. The wear rate is slow, no cupping or aquaplaning, there's no issue with balancing (unlike with Nokian). In my case, I got the tyres supplied on the original equipment with the car, to be honest first impression very good grip in the corner and on the wet grip. Dunlop SP Sport MAXX GT are really silent tyres. The only one think is that those tyres are sensitive to potholes but my driving is carefully and there roads are not the best. Read more Collapse

I bought this tyre because the previous Goodyear tread wear going too quick. On Dunlop drove already 2 times longer than the previous ones. Good rolling behaviour, at high speeds of 160 km/h and above they stick perfectly to the road. Heightened pressure in tyres allows for reducing of fuel consumption. Read more Collapse

Not happy when grip at wet is concerned, they're not bad on dry. Not bad 275/30zr21 tyres but I'm sure Continental Sport Conti 5P are much better! Read more Collapse

Since the purchase made by car just over 60 FFM. Currently, because of the tread are more apt to be discarded. It is much too short, providing a very fast tire wear. My driving style is rather moderate with a tendency to rather calm. Not once in those tires screech did not move or just not braked. Tire sensitive to mechanical damage, 8 used tires, 2 were replaced because of tumors, 2 although still good tread on the sides were broken. Zcieralnosc fast enough with a more aggressive behavior. Risk of retirees will be happy that I certainly do not. Overall a very good tire road holding in all conditions. Rather mild, is perforated and cut with ease: in 9 months, I had to replace as much as 3 different occasions or accidental perforation, or because cut or damaged beyond repair potholes in the streets.
