Great winter tires. Alpine is the next generation standard tires. Last season I rode ALPIN4. I was very happy because the decision to buy the next generation of tires from the same manufacturer. A characteristic feature is that the tire is very quiet. Practically, it can not be heard. The comparable to summer noise tires. Holds the road well in both wet and dry surfaces at low temperatures and at high speed. I recommend to anyone, especially in difficult conditions, not "heat" at breakneck speed. Voyager moderately can assess the value of those tires. They are very quiet, cornering and braking very good resistance to rolling imperceptible. A revelation to me.

All previous winter tyres that I had were Goodyears, so buying Michelin Alpin 5 I risked, but it was worth it. The tyres are quieter from the summer ones, and in British winter in dry, wet or snow surface they perform as good. The treadwear is minor, after doing 15000 miles the tread wear was about 5%. I do recommend these tyres.

Great tyres, significantly better than its predecessors. Perfect in every weather conditions. There was no real snow in winter so I cannot tell how they perform on snow, however I was drivinf while snowing and they were brilliant. The biggest advantage of Michelin Alpin 5 compared to the A4 is the behaviour on the wet. Both breaking and driving in turns is like driving on dry surface.I recomment these outstanding tyres.

After a full season (about 6000 km), I can recommend the tire to everyone. Maybe the winter was rather mild, but the tires never let me down. Even with a thick layer of ice, the car moved smoothly. Throughout the winter, I did not lose grip. The car is well soundproofed and comfortable, so I did not feel that the tires were too noisy or that the car would lose comfort. After traveling 6,000 km, the tire has 8 mm tread, I do not know how much it had to start. Very nice tread :)
