"Green Performance” is the Pirelli philosophy that allows it to create environmentally friendly tyres. The Pirelli P7 Cinturato has been designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible, both during production and when in use. The tyre has a range of features that ensure high performance, driving precision and an enjoyable driving experience. The model is an excellent choice for drivers who favour a sporty style of driving and value high performance specifications alongside safety on the road.
The model has been produced using an innovative hybrid material, which ensures lower tread wear and greater resistance to mechanical damage. This means that drivers can enjoy the full range of performance features of the Pirelli P7 Cinturato for longer and the tyre maintains its specifications at any speed. The tread pattern with its characteristic block layout reduces rolling resistance (resulting in lower fuel consumption) as well as tyre noise.
The reinforced shoulders and blocks in the central part of the tread ensure excellent grip during sudden manoeuvres and when negotiating corners. They are also responsible for excellent steerability and problem-free lane stability. Wide longitudinal grooves meanwhile provide good water dispersal, which is especially important when driving in rain as it protects the car against skidding and minimises the risk of aquaplaning.
The P7 Cinturato is the first Pirelli tyre designed as part of the "Green Performance” project. According to the description of the range, the model limits its negative impact on the environment, whilst maintaining its safety parameters and optimal performance specifications. Pirelli is an Italian company, the fifth largest tyre manufacturer in the world. It is particularly well known for its tyres for sports cars. The company has its headquarters in Milan, the city where it was established in 1872.
Pirelli is an Italian powerhouse in the pneumatic tyre sector. The brand was founded by Giovanni Battista Pirelli in 1872 The company is best known for its association with motor sports. Pirelli tyres have been involved in various competitions practically from the company's very inception. The company's first success was in the Beijing-Paris rally in 1907. Pirelli is currently one of the five largest tyre manufacturers in the world. The group is also associated with Formula 1 and has been the official tyre supplier for all F1 teams since 2011.

Opinion from outside IE
Really good tyre for every vehicle. Excellent grip on the dry surface and control when tracktion is lost for some random reason. Low rolling resistance and external noise level and it makes this model pleasant to use. Decent durability. I am quite sure that I will be able to use Pirelli P7 Cinturato for some longer time - I am usual driver and I do not drive some huge distances over the year, just like most of the car ovners. Which is quite important for me is that it was so easy for the serviceman in the garage to fit these tyres. Quick and without any problem and that saves me a lot of stress, maybe even some money. I had a bad adventure with some lower quality tyre model in the past. The biggest adventage is wet grip and perfect aquaplanning resistance. Maybe it is just my personal observation but after some time with this tyre on the car it is possible to detect when vehicle will loose grip. It makes driving even in rainy weather much safer. I have to admit that this a great tyre model. I used always some cheaper models in the past and it is first time when I decided to try something from the top quality. Best choice ever. Quite tyres. Even very demanding driver will be satisfied. Grip on the dry and wet surface is excellent. Braking is perfect. You can drive quite fast and if necessary vehicle will stop immediately without any problem. Doesn't matter on what road condition. I can't really make objective opinion about the durabiliy becouse I used them not even for full season now but is seems like I will have no problems with them for some longer time. I will check the tread depth after couple of months just for the curiosity. Good price and really good product. I can recommend Pirelli P7 Cinturato to anyone. Read more Collapse

I have Pirelli P7 Cinturato fitted on my Fiat Stilo. One of the best I have ever had. Very good on dry and wet surface as well. I drove on them over 16000 miles in winter and bit more than 40000 miles in summer. Perfect till the very end. Doesn't wear on the sidewalls which is huge advantage. Braking system is excellent. I use them on my home car which is mentioned Fiat but I also have these tyres fitted in my Subaru which is dedicated for sport driving. From this perspective they are fantastic as well. Great handling and driving comfort. Can't say anything bad about them. Maybe only small one - 205/55 R16 doesn’t have a rim protector but it is really nothing when it comes to the quality of the tyre in general. Highly recommended. Read more Collapse

Hello, Got these tyres fitted for a short time now to wrote an opinion. So far tyre is quiet and comfortable to drive. I had an opportunity to drive on the wet and dry roads- perfect. Previously had Pirelli P7 fitted which was very good tyre. Last for long and due to the stronger sidewalls never got damaged on curbs or potholes. Good handling no matter if it was dry or wet. Little bit louder that my previous one but still ok. Did around 30k on the fronts and 50k rears, mainly driving on the European roads. Good result ! Hope a new tyres will last for such a long time. My choice was simple, had a great experience with a previous one that’s why I chosen new generation. Have a safe trip! Read more Collapse

Very good tyres. when it comes to rainy weather, the nonsense is that this tyre is bad. I drove 12,500 miles, a very resistant tyre, easy driving. Good for dry and wet surfaces. It falls very badly on the snow! A small remark is that you can not be late with changing tyres for the winter, because it can be a nasty surprise. The disadvantage of the tyre is its flexibility. Before I had the Michelin Primacy HP and they were more comfortable. In general, a very good tyre, probably took a bribe from other brands that has such a low score on wet, because this is not true. The big advantage is its durability, I think it will make me reach 50,000 to 60,000 miles and get a very good result. Read more Collapse

I was looking for new set of tyres becouse I realized that I have completly worn off tyres fitted. Well, I found Pirelli P7 Cinturato. Good opinion about them in general. Price is attractive especially becouse it is premium class model and not so expensive in my opinion. Pirelli is well known company. Finally I decided to try them and let my tell you that I'm really happy and satisfied. Even my old Skoda seems to be more enthusiastic on the road :D Good wet and dry grip, decent rolling resistance level, not really noisy. Can't complain at all. I'm happy and sure that I will use Pirelli in the future. With a clear conscience I can recommend not only for Skoda:-) Read more Collapse

I exepted quite a lot from the premium class tyre model to be honest. I was looking for some kind of luxury even. I chose Pirelli P7 Cinturato and I'm not disappointed at all. Perfect performance on the dry surface. Really good grip, low external noise level. When it comes to more difficult weather conditions, heavy rain for example, I can't complain. Tracktion is excellent, braking on wet asphalt same as on dry road. Grip is strong and confident even during driving uphill on wet. I had no problem with them in any situation. Durable product for sure. Good value for the money. I'm completely satisfied with this Pirelli model. Read more Collapse

Do not recommend. After doing around 1k km mainly on the motorways, edges of the tread deform and tyres started to vibrating and be really loud. Probably it was a faulty manufacture batch. Unfortunately after sending tyres for the claim it was rejected. Apparently it was a user fault?! Fitting station where I was fitting new tyres to set of new alloys, never heard of a similar problem before. This surprised me even more. Unfortunately I was supplied a faulty tyres and it is really shocking that such a big and known company as Pirelli didn’t take care of this problem. I will never buy tyres from this company. Tyre have a few good and bad points. I definitely would not recommend it to the car with a powerful engines. In my BMW X3 35i its just not working even though car is 4 wheel drive. Breaking is tragic. After changing back for winter Dunlop tyres, car is breaking again. Car stick to the road while cornering and suppress irregularities not really well but it is a run flat tyre. Noise level good too. After making around 20 k km no sign of the use and it will make another 20k. Not really keen on the tyres with ECO mark. For the steady calm drivers can be recommended but definitely not for heavy vehicles! Read more Collapse

Tyres are really good not the wet and dry surfaces. Car actually stick to the road like glued. Shape of the tread while driving in the rain drain water really good. Never felt aquaplaning. Handling at a high speeds and cornering superb! I am not a big fan of a tyres with a high profile, looks like a balloon. Quite loud while driving on the motorways at the high speeds , however it can be handled. On the tyre face on the side there is a tyre wear indicator which tells you when to change the tyres- clever marketing trick! In my opinion tyres worth recommendation. Read more Collapse

I have already covered 2 seasons on these tyres, they perform very well on dry surfaces. Most of the time tyres are used for city driving, so there is not much possibility to check them. However, I have observed improvement in braking at high speed on dry surfaces. In the wet, the driving is good, the tyre drains the water quite well. That year, I changed tyres quite late, so I drove in the snow just for a while at low temperatures. Here was also ok, with little snow it was easy to go. Very good tyres for this price. I don’t know how Pirelli managed to give an official homologation to BMW. Some time ago I ve decided to change from RUN FLATS as they were to hard for my BMW 3 series suspension. But now I am not happy after changing from winter Conti tyres to summer Pirelli. Tyre is really loud like in VAN. Sidewalls looks really bulgy. Driving wise: Generally ok but again really loud once taking a sharp corners, but it might be due to the fact that sidewalls are soft. On the wet and dry tyre behave really good but the noise… Read more Collapse

In fact, I have already traveled on these tyres for one season, so now I can try to sum them up. Basically, right after putting them on you can feel that there is something better on the wheels ;) Both when it comes to driving comfort and driving a car on the road, everything has improved significantly. At this moment I do not have any objections to them, maybe only that they could be even quieter (but I have too sensitive ears and eg my husband does not share my opinion on this matter ;) Read more Collapse

If you plan to change tires after three seasons for new ones, I recommend it. My after 35,000 miles have broken into the grooves of the tread - not good. The tyres are loud, I compare it with the winter yokohama w drive - I can not hear the difference. When it comes to grip in dry and wet conditions, it is VERY GOOD, but these are the only advantages of these tyres. I will add that they look tragically on the wheel, such tyres as in a big Fiat.Durability is the worst defect in these tyres. Read more Collapse

This wasn’t my first set of Pirelli tyres. From P3000 to P7 Cinturato. Probably I just got used to Pirelli brand. With my last set of tyres I wasn’t happy about , as after around 20k km start getting a flat tyres. Went to the garage to change them for new set. Once balancing fitter had to put on one side around 70g weight. Never came a cross putting such a big weight, usually it was around 15-20g. I think this will be my last purchase from Pirelli. I can recommend them on wet asphalt. Read more Collapse

Pirelli P7 Cinturato in size 205/55R16 fitted to my Audi 80 B4 2.0 115KM. Driving mainly on the motorways and I was looking for the tyre from top shelf, which is good on the wet roads as on the dry all are ok. Till today I have never lose a grip either on wet or dry asphalt. The only difference I can noticed it was a cornering, as before I was driving on low profile tyres. Much more soft and comfortable with a profile of 55. I can highly recommend Pirelli P7 Cinturato. Read more Collapse

Unfortunately one of my tyres was faulty. After a really short period of time it started to be loud- faster was driving tyre was louder. Went to the garage to rebalance, but it wasn’t a case. Swapped tyres from the front to back and again not success. This is a definitely manufacture fault. In my opinion premium class tyres shouldn’t have any faults, therefore I am disappointed. On the wet surface once trying to start dynamically tyres looses grip. Tread wear wise its ok. Read more Collapse

The tyre is a revelation to me because in the wet the car doesn't even have any slippage (rear-wheel drive) and it handles really well in the same corners as other tyres, which is how the cinturato p7 holds up incredibly well. In the dry it is just as sensational. I am not writing this because I have such tyres, I am just writing what I think about it. I recommend it and 90% of my next summer tyre will be the same. Hello. Tyres purchased in 2011 and I am really happy with them. Car stick to the road like glued. No any problem with an emergency braking. Car doesn’t lose a grip even if you try hard. With a full tank of fuel I do around 980-1020 km ( previous tyres Barum 930-950). Pirellis are XL so it should make them be less comfortable , but it isn’t. Really good water drainage in the rain. The only minus is driving with temperatures below 5 degrees but they are summer tyres. Read more Collapse

The tyre material is flexible, but the tyres meet expectations and do not show excessive wear. good price and high rating. In comparison to michelin tyres, don't be fooled by the name and the high price, it is the users opinion that counts and that is decisive. I drove on these tyres at 200 km/h and I can assure you that the car drives very well and has super grip, other elements can be assessed as positive. I started using them last spring. In fact, mounted by my boss - because it was his car. I work as a salesman and I really travel a lot - 22,000 miles made on these tyres in the summer. Absolutely nothing bad. Good results are confirmed on wet, tyres used in everyday life. I think I will have a calmer season on these tyres (although I would rather use them as a stimulant, because they are in good condition) and now I will get new ones. Read more Collapse

I already had Kleber DYNAXER HP3 and I thought they looked cheesy, but after replacing for the Pirelli, I changed my mind. I thought that Pirelli are difficult and very often crooked, they seemed noisy compared to Kleber, but actually Pirelli are comparable. I put on tyres and the car started to vibrate at 75 mph - sorry, but no. I changed to the old winter barum and there is nothing like that. it was a new premium tyre but defective. Read more Collapse

Overall, I'm happy with the tyres I bought. They behave beautifully on a wet and dry surface. The disadvantage is a relatively short life. I covered 25,000 miles on the new tyres (maybe a little more). Today (November 5) I changed the winter tyres and the mechanics stated unanimously that Pirelli must be thrown out. Tread one one axle evenly with one marker indicates the minimum depth and on the other one slightly under the marker. Read more Collapse

I have driven over 40,000 km on the P7 cinturato, during which the tyre has surprisingly held its own in corners, and on several occasions has saved me during emergency braking. It is quiet and one of the few tyres that does not wear out from high-speed driving. Low tread wear is an additional advantage. I recommend it as a safe and comfortable tyre. It allows you to have fun with fast driving and to use the potential of the car. Read more Collapse

I do not know how other opinions on the durability of the tyre - with me after 20,000 miles in the size of 245/45R17 tyres on the rear axle, it started working in the cluster. I do not drive like crazy, but rather moderately, but because the car is heavy + the car is loaded at the back, but maybe I can work on it? Earlier I used Pirelli P7, which were very good. I traveled 50,000 miles on them. That's why I decided to buy the newer model Cinturato P7. They are shiny tyres, they behave well on a dry and wet road. It is a consolation that they are even better than their predecessor P7. It is difficult for me to assess the durability of these tyres, because they have traveled only a few thousand miles. Overall, I highly recommend them. Read more Collapse

Tyre in the size 205/55/R16 looks really cool and its quiet, however I have a feeling that its is quiet hard. Handling and cornering wise on the dry and wet- really good. The tyre behaves very well in all weather conditions in the summer, very good lateral support in corners, even on dry surfaces. Wet driving is not a problem even at high speed, and the car is really safe. When it comes to bends on a big turns, I have included track stabilization, but it can also be a low tyre pressure. I can not test again, but I highly recommend this tyre because safety and quality are a priority Read more Collapse

Considering the price-to-quality ratio, this is the best choice among the premium winter tyres offered on Oponeo. The level of fuel consumption remained at the same level as in the case of summer tyres despite the heavier rolling conditions (slush, etc.). The car is parked in the garage almost always, so the cold engine starting and the associated higher fuel consumption in winter are eliminated. Read more Collapse

12,000 kilometres. So far I have no complaints. The tyre performs very well on dry and wet pavement, it is not afraid to drive in a large puddle, etc. Even on wet pavement and in ruts it is difficult to lose grip when moving off.
