Opinion from outside IE
Really good tyre for every vehicle. Excellent grip on the dry surface and control when tracktion is lost for some random reason. Low rolling resistance and external noise level and it makes this model pleasant to use. Decent durability. I am quite sure that I will be able to use Pirelli P7 Cinturato for some longer time - I am usual driver and I do not drive some huge distances over the year, just like most of the car ovners. Which is quite important for me is that it was so easy for the serviceman in the garage to fit these tyres. Quick and without any problem and that saves me a lot of stress, maybe even some money. I had a bad adventure with some lower quality tyre model in the past. The biggest adventage is wet grip and perfect aquaplanning resistance. Maybe it is just my personal observation but after some time with this tyre on the car it is possible to detect when vehicle will loose grip. It makes driving even in rainy weather much safer. I have Pirelli P7 Cinturato fitted on my Fiat Stilo. One of the best I have ever had. Very good on dry and wet surface as well. I drove on them over 16000 miles in winter and bit more than 40000 miles in summer. Perfect till the very end. Doesn't wear on the sidewalls which is huge advantage. Braking system is excellent. I use them on my home car which is mentioned Fiat but I also have these tyres fitted in my Subaru which is dedicated for sport driving. From this perspective they are fantastic as well. Great handling and driving comfort. Can't say anything bad about them. Maybe only small one - 205/55 R16 doesn’t have a rim protector but it is really nothing when it comes to the quality of the tyre in general. Highly recommended. Read more Collapse

Hello, Got these tyres fitted for a short time now to wrote an opinion. So far tyre is quiet and comfortable to drive. I had an opportunity to drive on the wet and dry roads- perfect. Previously had Pirelli P7 fitted which was very good tyre. Last for long and due to the stronger sidewalls never got damaged on curbs or potholes. Good handling no matter if it was dry or wet. Little bit louder that my previous one but still ok. Did around 30k on the fronts and 50k rears, mainly driving on the European roads. Good result ! Hope a new tyres will last for such a long time. My choice was simple, had a great experience with a previous one that’s why I chosen new generation. Have a safe trip! Read more Collapse

Very good tyres. when it comes to rainy weather, the nonsense is that this tyre is bad. I drove 12,500 miles, a very resistant tyre, easy driving. Good for dry and wet surfaces. It falls very badly on the snow! A small remark is that you can not be late with changing tyres for the winter, because it can be a nasty surprise. The disadvantage of the tyre is its flexibility. Before I had the Michelin Primacy HP and they were more comfortable. In general, a very good tyre, probably took a bribe from other brands that has such a low score on wet, because this is not true. The big advantage is its durability, I think it will make me reach 50,000 to 60,000 miles and get a very good result. Read more Collapse

I exepted quite a lot from the premium class tyre model to be honest. I was looking for some kind of luxury even. I chose Pirelli P7 Cinturato and I'm not disappointed at all. Perfect performance on the dry surface. Really good grip, low external noise level. When it comes to more difficult weather conditions, heavy rain for example, I can't complain. Tracktion is excellent, braking on wet asphalt same as on dry road. Grip is strong and confident even during driving uphill on wet. I had no problem with them in any situation. Durable product for sure. Good value for the money. I'm completely satisfied with this Pirelli model. Read more Collapse

Tyre have a few good and bad points. I definitely would not recommend it to the car with a powerful engines. In my BMW X3 35i its just not working even though car is 4 wheel drive. Breaking is tragic. After changing back for winter Dunlop tyres, car is breaking again. Car stick to the road while cornering and suppress irregularities not really well but it is a run flat tyre. Noise level good too. After making around 20 k km no sign of the use and it will make another 20k. Not really keen on the tyres with ECO mark. For the steady calm drivers can be recommended but definitely not for heavy vehicles! Read more Collapse

I don’t know how Pirelli managed to give an official homologation to BMW. Some time ago I ve decided to change from RUN FLATS as they were to hard for my BMW 3 series suspension. But now I am not happy after changing from winter Conti tyres to summer Pirelli. Tyre is really loud like in VAN. Sidewalls looks really bulgy. Driving wise: Generally ok but again really loud once taking a sharp corners, but it might be due to the fact that sidewalls are soft. On the wet and dry tyre behave really good but the noise… Read more Collapse

If you plan to change tires after three seasons for new ones, I recommend it. My after 35,000 miles have broken into the grooves of the tread - not good. The tyres are loud, I compare it with the winter yokohama w drive - I can not hear the difference. When it comes to grip in dry and wet conditions, it is VERY GOOD, but these are the only advantages of these tyres. I will add that they look tragically on the wheel, such tyres as in a big Fiat.Durability is the worst defect in these tyres. Read more Collapse

This wasn’t my first set of Pirelli tyres. From P3000 to P7 Cinturato. Probably I just got used to Pirelli brand. With my last set of tyres I wasn’t happy about , as after around 20k km start getting a flat tyres. Went to the garage to change them for new set. Once balancing fitter had to put on one side around 70g weight. Never came a cross putting such a big weight, usually it was around 15-20g. I think this will be my last purchase from Pirelli. I can recommend them on wet asphalt. Read more Collapse

Pirelli P7 Cinturato in size 205/55R16 fitted to my Audi 80 B4 2.0 115KM. Driving mainly on the motorways and I was looking for the tyre from top shelf, which is good on the wet roads as on the dry all are ok. Till today I have never lose a grip either on wet or dry asphalt. The only difference I can noticed it was a cornering, as before I was driving on low profile tyres. Much more soft and comfortable with a profile of 55. I can highly recommend Pirelli P7 Cinturato. Read more Collapse

Unfortunately one of my tyres was faulty. After a really short period of time it started to be loud- faster was driving tyre was louder. Went to the garage to rebalance, but it wasn’t a case. Swapped tyres from the front to back and again not success. This is a definitely manufacture fault. In my opinion premium class tyres shouldn’t have any faults, therefore I am disappointed. On the wet surface once trying to start dynamically tyres looses grip. Tread wear wise its ok. Read more Collapse

Hello. Tyres purchased in 2011 and I am really happy with them. Car stick to the road like glued. No any problem with an emergency braking. Car doesn’t lose a grip even if you try hard. With a full tank of fuel I do around 980-1020 km ( previous tyres Barum 930-950). Pirellis are XL so it should make them be less comfortable , but it isn’t. Really good water drainage in the rain. The only minus is driving with temperatures below 5 degrees but they are summer tyres. Read more Collapse

I started using them last spring. In fact, mounted by my boss - because it was his car. I work as a salesman and I really travel a lot - 22,000 miles made on these tyres in the summer. Absolutely nothing bad. Good results are confirmed on wet, tyres used in everyday life. I think I will have a calmer season on these tyres (although I would rather use them as a stimulant, because they are in good condition) and now I will get new ones. Read more Collapse
Big boy.
I already had Kleber DYNAXER HP3 and I thought they looked cheesy, but after replacing for the Pirelli, I changed my mind. I thought that Pirelli are difficult and very often crooked, they seemed noisy compared to Kleber, but actually Pirelli are comparable. I put on tyres and the car started to vibrate at 75 mph - sorry, but no. I changed to the old winter barum and there is nothing like that. it was a new premium tyre but defective. Read more Collapse

Overall, I'm happy with the tyres I bought. They behave beautifully on a wet and dry surface. The disadvantage is a relatively short life. I covered 25,000 miles on the new tyres (maybe a little more). Today (November 5) I changed the winter tyres and the mechanics stated unanimously that Pirelli must be thrown out. Tread one one axle evenly with one marker indicates the minimum depth and on the other one slightly under the marker. Read more Collapse

I have driven over 40,000 km on the P7 cinturato, during which the tyre has surprisingly held its own in corners, and on several occasions has saved me during emergency braking. It is quiet and one of the few tyres that does not wear out from high-speed driving. Low tread wear is an additional advantage. I recommend it as a safe and comfortable tyre. It allows you to have fun with fast driving and to use the potential of the car. Read more Collapse

Although I have these tyres only a few weeks, but I used many summer tyres before, eg Dunlop, Continental, Fulda and these summer Pirelli tyres are really amazing. ADAC tests are the best and they also have something to say! they are very calm but I do not know how it is with abrasion and behavior in winter. Here is the test (although a slightly different size...) https://www.oponeo.pl/artykul/ranking-opon-zimowych-2015-2016 Read more Collapse

I do not know how other opinions on the durability of the tyre - with me after 20,000 miles in the size of 245/45R17 tyres on the rear axle, it started working in the cluster. I do not drive like crazy, but rather moderately, but because the car is heavy + the car is loaded at the back, but maybe I can work on it? Before it was silent, but after 2 seasons it attracts 3-4 mm for the index. In addition, the tyre is like the others. Read more Collapse

Tyres fitted for around 10k km to my BMW 3 series – run flats. Choice was simple, wanted run flats even though they are harder and louder then standard tyres, but still really quiet. Very big plus for a tread wear. After 10k km no sign of use. On the wet surface grip is good, but need to be really careful with ESP switched off. Good performance and grip on dry once tried to drive aggressive. Read more Collapse

Excellent traction and grip in the wet conditions. Previously used Uniroyal RainExpert and I have to say that P7 are even better on the wet surfaces. You have to try really hard to make ESP work. Have Michelin Energy Saver fitted in my second car and they are not as good as Pirelli are. They could be quitter but its not that bad. ( marked as 71dB, but also can be bought with 69dB) Read more Collapse

As in the subject, first season ok, second season less so, noise appears especially when braking, tyres harden considerably and driving comfort suffers. Third season has become so dramatic that I am looking for new tyres. Mileage during the summer season approx. 12-15kkm / season. Read more Collapse
