Goodyear WRANGLER Duratrac

Information on the tyre:

Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac is a versatile tyre designed for off-road vehicles. This ensures good traction in all-terrain as well as good behaviour on paved roads . Equipped with a symmetrical tread, the model performs very well on dry and wet surfaces.

The tyre uses TractiveGroove technology, which improves traction on mud and during difficult off-road driving. It also has anti-slip studs, which further improves traction in extreme conditions, and makes Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac ideal for off-road driving enthusiasts. The designers have taken care of the driver and passengers comfort through the tread blocks systems that have been optimised for lower noise levels . What is more, by locating them in the central zone of the tread, they maintain lateral stability on rugged and challenging terrain. The tyre is durable and resistant to mechanical damages; in addition, it also features a rim protector which helps protect wheels from accidental kerb damage. This model also has improved traction - as a result of self-cleaning tread blocks on the shoulder of the tyre, it can quickly get rid of gravel, sand and mud, which positively affects the grip and improves driving stability . Engineers also took care of the even distribution of pressure, so that the tyre tread wears out slowly and steadily. This ensures full performance throughout the tyre’s longevity and greater driving safety. The model is dedicated for drivers who appreciate lasting and durable tyres that provide a safe and comfortable ride .

Goodyear is one of the worldwide leaders in the tyre industry. The company specialises in the production of premium tyres, which are characterised by excellent craftsmanship and maximum parameters . The company, in addition to its own brand, also provides Dunlop, Fulda, Sava and Debica tyres to the market. Goodyear owns 85 manufacturing facilities in 28 countries around the world.

    Opinion from outside IE

I replaced the tyres for BFGoodrich MT KM reference of 8 years served me faithfully in the expedition SUV. Absolutely do not regret this departure from the field of orthodoxy. When you buy tyres for land do not buy to class because in our clay surfaces immediately after the rain make with their tyres slicks. MT tyres are a must if you want to leave the area and not the real way to a villa. But MT racial are noisy on asphalt and do not keep well away. Goodyear MTR is a happy medium. MT generally softer than steel inserts on the sides, because instead of Kevlar. Finalist thicker and softer, more on asphalt but still good for mud. Abrasion slightly higher. But something for something. Much calmer than the MT-ONE. Lattes will use them in winter, but this is not typical of winter tyres. Original stud holes for driving on white roads, where permitted by law. Overall, I highly recommend off-road and on a daily basis. Instead of MT unfortunate or hardcore ‘universal’ AT. Opinion from outside IE

I was looking for tyres and shipping found. Ideal for light terrain and for long trips across. Do surprisingly well on wet roads, very good on dry roads, dirt and gravel paths, in mud and snow. After 10,000 km I have not found any loss of tread. I have not had the opportunity to test the tyres on ice. What remains unknown to me is the resistance to mechanical damage from rock and forest, although the manufacturer declares the reinforced structure side of the tyre. The drawback is the small number of sizes available on the European market, in the absence of my favourite size, 235/85 R16 (available in the USA). Compared with my previous General Grabber AT-arms do not grow burn, even on the contrary, however, are a little stronger. With regard to handling characteristics that exceed its predecessor in all cases. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version) Read more Collapse

A tyre that I judge to be an excellent compromise between road and real off-road, not just the simple dirt road. Excellent on snow, especially powdery snow, it also retains good traction on compacted snow. On mud it has a good propensity to empty quickly and regain grip. On rock it climbs really well and is strong enough not to be damaged too much. Despite the generous tread it retains a fair amount of comfort when riding on asphalt. I have covered about 10K km and they look new so the consumption is also good, we will see how the situation evolves as the miles go by. Not only would I recommend it to those who don't want to keep two sets of tyres (road/off-road) but if it keeps going like this it's a tyre I'll definitely buy again. Super tyre on asphalt and medium-heavy zone. After 60 000 still suitable for use on the ground, but on asphalt begins tight noise and squealing under braking. Compared with other MT excellent choice that you can not regret it, unless you are a narzekającym classic conservative on everything that is not BFGoodrich tyres. Lots of driving in Albanian, Romanian and other rocky Balkan mountains and no failures. Many rides on low pressure (0.8), and never lowered the wheels of! If someone wants tyre With calmer on asphalt that can be easily entered the mud and sharp rocks recommend without hesitation. as soon as you pick it up you realise the weakness (softness) of the shoulder in absolute terms and in reference to the bfg mk2 there is a gulf. Tthis leads to inaccuracy due to the high deformation, which also leads to a delay in reaction. Deflating the tyre even a little immediately creates a belly that exposes the shoulder to the risk of cuts on uneven ground (by comparison, the bfg mk2 tyres are deflated a lot and do not deflate while the footprint lengthens, giving flotation and directionality). ultimately a tyre that is too soft both on and off the road. Compared to the tank that has so far use a vehicle (AT) revelation. On dry or wet asphalt or better than AT field properties for me are great. Self-cleaning tyre in the mud, traction on wet grass, or cope in deep ruts. To incomparably do not know how DuraTrac life. I suspect it will not hold as much as AT. d39;text summary a very good compromise between properties on a black job and hard on the ground. I'm happy with that choice. Goodyear Duratec I can recommend in 100%. Super good on snow and wet roads, despite the corresponding tread of MT tyres on asphalt exposure traction than AT and those who have more upscale for example. Goodear SilentArmor. The tyre positively surprised me with its versatility. I have ridden on other AT-type tyres, but none have convinced me as much. The Wranglers are supposedly MT, but in my opinion only in appearance. They are suitable for mud, bog, sand, grass and tarmac. The only downside is that they actually wear down quickly. Well, but they are made of soft rubber - their properties don't come out of nowhere. Read more Collapse

I was looking for a universal tire for off-road cranes AT conduct, but also in winter. DuraTrac as one of the few of this type of winter tire specifications. Driving on snow przetrenowalem again, I'll refer to the road and off road. Asphalt tires quiet slopes uniformly in August you can drive 100 km / h will not be strong. Braking in dry conditions very well "in the wet too, abs does not respond when you press the brake company. Earth mud or grass is not paste the tread, car rides, sand, sand well, it helps here tread of the tire, which in turn is dangerous ruts in the asphalt higher speeds.
