Scale of scores: Highest lowest

The tyre has achieved the highest "A" rating for grip on wet roads. The Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance meets the expectations of even the most demanding drivers. As you would expect from a summer tyre, the model performs exceptionally well in variable weather conditions. Thanks to its asymmetric tread pattern, the Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance ensures good water dispersal and excellent grip, even on very wet roads.

Compared with other tyres, the Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance guarantees 2 metre (8%) shorter braking distances on wet roads and 3% shorter braking distances on dry roads. The model uses WearControl technology to ensure a balance between grip and low rolling resistance. This extends the tyre's lifetime, which means that the driver can enjoy its excellent performance specifications for its entire service life. The tyre's attributes also include short braking distances, which means that drivers of cars fitted with Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance tyres can feel really safe.

Its Fuel Saving technology helps limit energy losses, reducing this by around 18% compared with other premium tyres. External noise is another area where the Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance outshines the competition. Thanks to its unique tread design and the use of a special compound in its production, the engineers behind this model have managed to significantly reduce tyre noise. The model is ideal for drivers looking for a tyre that provides not only safety and driver comfort, but also optimal performance across a range of surfaces in variable, often difficult weather conditions.

In tests carried out by ADAC in 2015, Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance came in 2nd place for size 185/60 R14 and 205/55 R16 tyres.

Goodyear is one of the largest tyre manufacturers in the world. In terms of sales, it is the second largest in Europe and the fourth largest worldwide. As well as tyres for passenger cars, the company also produces aircraft tyres, tyres for industrial machinery, rubber hoses and soles for shoes. Goodyear owns brands including: Dębica, Dunlop, Fulda and Sava. The company has its headquarters in Akron, Ohio, USA. The group's factories currently employ around 90,000 people.

I bought the Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance tyres one year ago on Oponeo online shop and I would like to share my opinion. I decided to purchase them after reading some reviews a So far they are the best summer tyres I have ever had and my previous tyres were Michelins . On the beginning I dont wanted buy them but do not regret my decision. I have done more than 5000 miles on them and they still looks very good. The are very comfortable. They are doing very good in both dry and wet condition. The pattern tread looks great. Braking distance on a wet surface is also very good. I had opportinity to drive on Barum tyres few days ago and was feel huge difference. To be honest is impossible to compare those tyres to my Goodyears. The Goodyear tyres are worth their price. You have to purchase them to find out how good they are. I would like to recommend these tyres, especially to those who like to go a bit faster and still feel safty on the road. My Audi A4 is not a light vehicle but it drives like it was sticked to the road. The Goodyear tyres are characterized by a low rolling resistance and low noise level.. Their durability is high. I have done quite a lot of miles on them and there are absolutely no wear signs. I do recommend this product to all undecided drivers looking for the best quality. Read more Collapse

I do recommended Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance tyres as the best summer tyre on wich I have ever rode,. I have a comparison to Continetal and Michellin tyres which I had before and certainly choose Goodyear. My previous Bridgestone Turanza tyres - compared to the Goodyear were much more difficult to drive and slippery in the rain. The Goodyear tyres provides excellent traction on dry, wet surfaces and in a corners (very good grip even at high speed). When it comes to comfort I strongly recommends. In the conduct of the tire seems to be very nice. The tyres are quite quiet and look nice on my car. Good hard braking, I drove at high speeds and never had the feel car fell into slippage. It makes you feel their safe. I can not comment to much about durability as I have drove about 4,000 miles on those tyres (mainly in the city, but also on the motorway). I cannot say a bad word about the tyres. I noticed that a fuel consumption is lower to compare to all my previous tyres. In conclusion certainly recommend Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance tyres and oponeo online shop. They delivered my goods in three working days! The tyres were value for money and I would buy the same tyres again. I do recommended! Read more Collapse

Unfortunately from the very beginning there is a problem with the tyres...firstly they are difficult to balance...so much weight I have never seen before. Secondly, balanced several times (in different points) and unfortunately vibrations at 110 km/h. New rims checked in service...they are fine. In general, goodyear has turned their back on the customer and has not acknowledged the manufacturing defect. No printouts from the measuring equipment, only a subjective assessment based on a drive by a specialist on a level road... I am sending for an independent expert opinion. On the balancing machines alone you can see how the tyre jumps... but well... I advise against it; alternatively, complain as soon as you have any doubts. The oponeo shop itself behaved very professionally during the complaint and I thank you for that. I recommend the shop...the tyres not !!! 3 sets of goodyears and this third one turned out to be totally defective...flawed forever.... I have done about 40.000 miles on these tyres and I must say they are doing well. Before after similar distance also I have changed the brake discs in my car. When it comes to the tyres I have changed them every 30000 - 40000 miles but the Goodyear tyres are excelent. They really nice suprise me. The tyres perform well in dry summer condition but also during havy rain. My car simply sticked to the road. The Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance tyres are characterized also by a low rolling resistancemeacquisition. Another advantage of these tyres is the fact that they are really hard wearing. I noticed that a fuel consumption is lower then before. I tested those tyres also in large puddles taking at high speed. because there was no one around and they are very stable and predictable, dosen’t generate any virbation. I must admit that they are surprisingly quiet.I have very positive impressions. Highly recommended them to everybody Read more Collapse

I have Citroen C5 car and always I had some problem with tyres. For example previosly i have drove on Dunlop SP Sport Blueresponse tyres. They was quite good, calm, but somethimes the suspension of the car reacted quite unexpectedly. I was traing few differen solutions to compensate for the problem, unfortunatlly without sucses. One day I have demaged one tyre and I decide to buy Goodyear tyres and problems disappeared. .I did no more than 65000 miles on those tyres. The Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance tyres very good dampen minor irregularities well and they are very durable and quiet. They perform well in both dry and wet condition and little more aggressive driving seem to be even better. The average fuel consumption has dropped a little, even though I ride on these tires probably a little more aggressive than in the past. I strongly recomend Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance tyres to everyone. Read more Collapse

After 10000 miles I can tell something about Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance. I think that its biggest advantage is dricing in wet conditions. Any puddle is not a problem for this tyre. Excellent wet grip and also driving on turns and braking is perfect. The comfort of driving has risen since I bought them. It is even better to drive on unevennesses without any vibrations. Of course this is the reason why this tyre is softer, but the tread wears not as fast as I thought. I think I would be able to say something about it when I drive more miles. If it comes to fuel consumption, I did not notice any difference. The only drawback is the noise. I think that A labelled tyre should not produce such a noise. The design of Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance brings character to the car, they look brilliant. I can honestly recommend this tyre to anyone. Read more Collapse

When i bought my car I had orgynaly mounted Bridgestone tyres. After conversation to Oponeo customers service I decided to buy Goodyear tyres with considerations for good performance (B, A, 68). I was very happy couse I have spend less money than in competitiv shop. I am extremely nice surprised. It becomes immediately obvious that they are extremely quiet. My previous tyres were also quiet, but I cant compare them to Goodyear tyre. They provide comfortable driving. Even in sharp corners you still feel confident. The tyres perform well in bouth dry and wet condition so you can feel safty and confident on the road but I have to drive more before I rate their durability. In conclusion I can say only that the Goodyear tyres are one of the best money can buy in this size. They are definitely worth their price. I am glad I purchased them. Read more Collapse

I mainly use my car to city drive and somethimes on motorway.I was looking for tyres wich give me safety and comfort becouse drive with a child in the seat very often. It was most important thing for me. Other requirements were indicative, often based on opinion for durability, reliability, noise or structure of the tyre. I also received a lto o positives revievs from my friend wich tested Goodyear tyres during his trip to Europe. I think there were designed for more demanding drivers. They are very durable. They are resistant to all kinds of mechanical damage and abrasions.. The Goodyear - Efficientgrip Performance tyres provide a good grip and safety on a road in dry and wet condition and that is why I do recommend them to all who look for reliable and safty tyres. I bought Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance in early April, and drove about 2000 miles. I must admit that ride comfort is very high, mainly due to the fact that the tires are very quiet (both in city driving and highway). Another advantage is safety - tyres worked perfectly through corners, even on wet surfaces. During the hard breakin behave without complaint and at higher speeds tires retain their properties. In terms of combustion, difficult for me to say anything because is to early. I am aware that this is too short to make an informed opinion on the use of the tires, but until then - I am very happy with the purchase in Oponeo onlien shop. Anyway, I highly recommend Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance tyres. Next time I will purchase this tyres again. Read more Collapse

I was choosing tyres to suit my car and my driving, I mean when car's engine is not noisy (I drive toyota prius) it is easy to hear tyre noise (had that problem with previous brand). These are perfect in this aspect. Everyday driving mostly involves short distances and it just perfect. The only thing I have noticed that wet grip could be better if tyre pressure is within recommeded range. In my case 2.4 front and 2.3 rear. But when I increased them to 2.6 - 2.5 wet grip improved much and at the same time don't feel any discomfort in driving. Also I drove car for a long distance - 7500 km trip within 3 weeks with up to 1600 km non-stop driving and really happy with having no issues with tyres. Low noise, fully predictable behavior, excellent road contact. Read more Collapse

I have mounted Goodyear tyres on my car and I can see huge difference compare to my previous Michellin tyres. The tyres are quiet and very comfortable at the same time gives a great feeling of safty. I bought those tyres last year just before my trip to Croatia and I don't regret the choice. The average fuel consuption over the entire road (more than 3,000 miles) is about 5L / 70 miles with a fairly fast but non-aggressive driving with the full load. I wanted to buy comletly different model of the tyres , but after conversation an Oponeo employee, I chose those tyres and I'm very satisfated. They provide next day delivery so I received my goods very quick. In summary, I recommend the shop and the tyres to everyone. Read more Collapse

I have read a lot of reviews about tyres both cheaper and more expencive before I made my purchase. I decide to buy Goodyear Efficientgrip tyres and today I know that I chose very good. The tyres look very nice on a car. In my opinion, Goodyer is one of the best tyre manufactures at the moment. They provide a feeling of safety on a road. The tyre perfectly stick to the road on dry condition. Even in sharp corners you still feel confident. and safty. The noise level very surprised me even when I drove over 90 - 100 moh mhs I never heard them inside the car. Although the Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance costs quite a lot, it is a very good tyre due to its high durability. It is worth buying. I do recommend!. Read more Collapse

I purchsed Goodyear tyres on Oponeo. These are very good tyres. The braking distance is very short - even too short, but I treats it as a plus for the tyres. The Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance provide good grip to dry road but during the rain tyres perform very well, I cant complain. However, I would like to write a little bit about their durability. They are very durable. I think they were designed for intensive use even on uneven roads. Unfortunatlly, I have to travel that way almost every day. Their rubber compound is great! .The rolling resistance is low, which has a positive influence on a fuel consumption. What can I say more about Goodyera tyres? I do recommend those tyres! I recommend Continental tyres to all those who likes a travel in silently. The peform very well on dry roads and behave bit worse on wet. The most imptrent thing is fuel combustion. At a constant speed of 16 mph on my display was 3.8 liters. Compare to last seasons and my preavious tyres is much better, before was 5 liters. Nicely they remove inequalities and are very quiet. It made an impression on me to drive the 45 - 60 mph but outside of the engine I did not hear the characteristic sound of the tires. Before buying, I checked the rankings tires. This model is still in the top four. Overall, I strongly recommend those tyres to all customers. I would buy again. Read more Collapse

Previously I had a set of Pirelli summer tyres mounted on my vehiclebut they cannot be compared with Goodyears tyres. The biggest surprise is that they are quiet and comfotable. Welcome to the beginning of April, I swapped Fulda tyres for GY performance tyres for summer effiencegrip size 215/55/16 of 93H. I am disappointed with these tyres, especially when it comes to the comfort even the smallest car ruts would behave as if the tyre has been punctured terribly and recovers terribly. As far as volume control is concerned in my opinion are quite noisy. Perhaps this is because April mornings are quite cold 3-4 degrees of heat. Sometimes I have the feeling that I was driving on wooden wheels. The biggest advantage is driving in the rain car really very safe goes. Well I have to wait until the higher temperature can then change my mind. Read more Collapse

Usually after changing the tyres from winter to summer I felt big discomfort in terms of noise. Winter tyres were quiet and summer ones were hearable. This year I have changed the tyres to Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance and I did not notice any difference in noise comparing them to the winter tyres! This was the first confirmation that I chose good. As I expected (because I have read opinions before purchasing) the tyres have perfect grip in wet and dry conditions. But the biggest surprise was the fuel consumption. I can easily do 100 miles more on one full gas tank comparing to other tyres. I have spent reasonable amount of money for excellent tyres! The tyres guarantee a comfortable driving experience. Thanks to their construction, which resembles that of winter tyres. The tyres are soft. This may lead to the question of abrasion - moderate as for most competitors. The softness of the tyres makes bumps more pleasant to ride on. Even on reinforced concrete slabs we only hear a clatter between the successive slabs. Rolling resistance - not rated. This is due to the fact that there is no need to think about this parameter. The car rolls perfectly. The second important thing is the behavior in curves - the result is very good. Aquaplaning - satisfactory. At higher speeds the car is slightly carried away. The tyres good in general, confirm all the reviews about good traction on wet condition what is most important for me.. They are very comfortable even at a high speed.. The biggest surprise is that they are quiet. They also provide great performance in the both warm and wet conditions, they perflectly stick to the road even in the corners. I must admit that they are surprisingly quiet. They provide a good rolling resistance and combustion. As for the durability of the tyre i need more experimence in this case to expres my opinion What is more, you will feel safety on those tyres. I do recommend Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance to everyone. Read more Collapse

Tyres grip very well in corners and on wet roads, unfortunately they wear very quickly (I think they have a fairly soft compound), you have to make do with what you have, unfortunately out of 4 new pieces of equipment I managed, despite a fairly high profile, to damage as many as 2 at different times - the defect was a popping balloon on the side of the tyre, the so-called damage to the wires on the side of the tyre probably from our roads, but in other brands I did not have this problem, so I write about it, in general I recommend, but not for people who want to save money, rather for those who replace tyres quite often and can afford it Read more Collapse

I bought the tyres in March 2015, I travel about 1000 km a week on the Poland-Germany route. They even managed snow. Traction on dry and wet tyres, amazing for this size. Regardless of the speed of the car, even the 120 mph the vehicle is run confidently and comfortably. I drive aggressively, often overcoming curves at excess speed, but the tires surprisingly stick to the surface! In emergency braking situations, the ABS system was rarely activated, the tires do not lose contact with the ground! I'm confronting Goodyear engineers for being able to construct such a perfect product. Distance traveled, approx. 25 thousand km / 6 months Read more Collapse

I switched from Pirelli Cinturato P7s, which weren't bad, but (1) they wore out pretty quickly and (2) their behaviour, especially in the dry, was in my opinion a little disappointing. I bought a pair of these Continentals and, firstly, it was quiet, and secondly, braking was suddenly better. I do not judge wear, I do not have the equipment, I do not get excited about the appearance, and the failure rate....... well, one has failed, but, ah, sorry, only because of my way of crossing the liaisons on the roundabout :/ Well I'm not sure about them there, but you can see the difference at the station too. I have been using the tyres since the end of February 2015. Since then I have travelled over 25k km on them. Although the tyre looks bulgy when the car is standing perfectly in the corners. In terms of lower fuel consumption compared to my previous Continental ContiPremiumContact 2 tyres, a consumption of around 0.2 l / 100 km lower. After 25,000 km, you can already see signs of wear on the front axle, about 40% on the rear 75%. I can definitely recommend the tire due to the very short braking distance on both wet and dry surfaces which saved me a few times from problems :). If I change tires I will definitely buy the same ones. Read more Collapse

I bought these tyres based on the tests and opinions of other users and I was not disappointed. I did not have any problems with them this season. I liked the fact that they are quiet. In addition, I noticed a noticeable decrease in fuel consumption (of course, I used to drive well-worn pieces, so it was easily noticeable). Today, despite the sudden weather break down, snowfall and very wet surface (though not freezing), they performed very well. Not once did I notice the slightest uncertainty. The other thing is that I was driving very carefully. Today I changed the wheels for winter. In summary, I highly recommend these tyres. Read more Collapse

I am using the tyre on a 2003 Audi A4 B6 1.9tdi 96kW ( boosted) to 150hp. The Goodyear tyres, after 12,000 km, are performing superbly, regardless of the type of road surface and weather conditions. The appearance of the tread does not knock, but safety on the road is the most important thing, as well as good vehicle performance and fuel consumption. Overall, I must say that at the moment they are better than the previous Continental Conti Premium Contact 2, Dunlop Sp sport, others in size 205/55/16. In terms of handling, I have no complaints, but when it comes to durability it is not so good. The sidewalls of the tyre are so unstable that if you scrape them against a curb you will destroy the tyre. I have these tyres on my front axle and after only two weeks the tyre had to be replaced and after a year the sidewall was damaged again. I am very careful on kerbs and I have NEVER had sidewall damage with my previous tyres. I will not be buying another tyre but will be replacing them with another brand. I can recommend the Goodyear winter tyres, but I advise you to beware of the summer tyres, as they are a real nuisance. Read more Collapse

I drove many km on those - sometimes on 2k km trips. They seem to be quite durable if it comes to normal usage especially that I am driving Irish roads (Irish asphalt contains a lot of small stones etc which are using your tires quicker). I drove on Motorways quite quickly In Ireland and outside and they are very comfortable with a good grip. But if it comes to marks and damages if you hit the curb sideways they not great. Sometimes gentle curb touch lives damage. They also did not protected enough my rims. On the other hand had no punctures and i live around construction site but that might be coincident. Goodyear tyres I bought after being offered by Oponeo consultant - I was hesitating between Dunlopam SP and Goodyear. I am very happy with the purchase. The tyre is soft, comfortable, after the season no special tread wear is visible. They are quiet. Cannot see any massive difference on of fuel consumption, because I did not drive this car on other summer tyres and I have no comparison. They also worked very well on rainy days - the car behaved steadily and steadily even during faster passage through larger puddles. For sure I will decide to buy this manufacturer's tyres in the future, it was money well spent. Read more Collapse

I have been looking for good summer tyres for a long time - tyres that can be relied on in all weathers, especially in the rain. These tyres are superb. Both in the city and in the countryside. They dampen all vibrations and bumps, which are not rare on Polish roads. The driving comfort is excellent. The car grips the road very well when entering bends and curves. The tyres are very quiet, they behave very well on wet pavement, and I have lowered the consumption of diesel fuel. I am very satisfied with them. I would recommend these tyres to anyone who appreciates comfort and convenience in driving. Read more Collapse

A great tyre, but unfortunately not for a city. Very soft (sidewalls), you have to be very careful when parking near a high kerb. When the tyre pressure is correct it seems to be underinflated. It feels like it has a flat tire when it is not standing properly. It is very sensitive to improper pressure. The previous Dunlop performed much better. Although noisier and the car actually uses about 0.2 l less fuel on the road. Average fuel consumption Skoda Fabia 1.4 TDI 3.6 litres, about 100 km/h Now 3.4 litres. When it comes to premium tyres, I used Bridgestone Turanza ER300 a few years ago. It was also good but I have the impression that Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance are even better. Several times in recent months I had to do emergency breaking and the car stopped like imidietly. It is true that I have ABSs but it was evident that tyres play a large role in efficient braking. A friend advised against saying that they would be too "soft". So far, the tyres do not show excessive wear. My first impression when I had them fitted was that they were ugly, bald on the sides and had deep grooves in the middle. In addition, dirt sticks to them terribly. Another issue is noise - they make a distinct noise on poorer quality asphalt. I know I may be a bit of a malcontent. I do not deny that these tyres have good handling characteristics and that they save fuel to some extent. The question is whether it is worth paying for it in terms of looks and noise. I've only been riding them for a few days but if I were to choose again I'd look for something more "subdued". Read more Collapse

If you drive a lot, this size and model is really worth attention, previously I had michelin wide 225 and the car smoked about 1 litre more on the same route. I have already driven over 10,000 km and the tyres are in good condition, they do not wear too quickly, in addition, they are quite soft, which is nice on our roads. They work well on wet and dry roads, are quiet and in fact with efficient grip performance combustion is much lower by about 8L / 100km (on winter and summer another company was about 9.2L / 100 km) at 2.0 petrol and 5.5-6L / 100km at 2.0 D When it comes to price, in C30, where there is a different size, in relation to quality work well, while the S60 is a bit too expensive. Hello, I bought the tyres in spring 2013, I had the opportunity to use them until October this year. Distance made at this time is about 25,000 km. Tyres are quiet and comfortable, even at highway speeds. I have not noticed the fuel savings, they are doing very well in the wet, even in winter conditions (I did not have such a good wet tyre), only deeper snow is a problem. As for durability, you can only see wear on the drive axle, but they should be able to handle 80,000 km. I recommend the tyre and probably I will decide again on this model. Read more Collapse

Apparently everything is ok, the tyre is great in wet conditions. The car does not skid, brakes almost immediately, is quiet, and the fuel consumption is between 4.2 and 4.5 with aggressive driving. But the tyre was bought in April. At the beginning of June one had a hole in the side. To be discarded. Another one burst on the side in September. To be discarded. Straight road, occasional potholes and suddenly you get a flat tire. If it wasn't for the insurance, it was a flop. I'm thinking of getting another set. Read more Collapse

Have these on an A6 estate since the 20th Jan 15. Have ~11K km on them so far and I imagine there will be another 5-8K km left on them. Even though the car itself is no sports car the tyres give very good grip in the dry, feels well planted in the wet. Worth the money over cheaper sets and with there not being any issues with grip I feel like they should be better than a more premium brand also for the style of driving this car allows. A very good tyre with excellent handling characteristics, lightweight, made of soft material which ensures less noise on the road, especially at higher speeds. The appearance may not be the best but the driving comfort is top shelf. Lower fuel consumption and, so far, failure-free performance, also in connection with high driveways and possible formation of moguls at profile 50. In my opinion, it is unrivalled in the premium class of tyres, with a try at Continetal, Bridgeston or Michelen. Read more Collapse

Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance are perfect! They are really quiet and the grip is excellent. Only after changing them, my fitter told me that they are good tyres, because there were no problems with balancing. I chose the tyre from the premium branch, because i value good and solid products, but mostly safety. I am only driving on them for one season, but I hope that they will perform as well for couple of next seasons. I think that it is worth to pay more for more comfort and safety. Read more Collapse

After about 2,000 kilometres I am very satisfied with the grip of these tyres on dry asphalt and on wet roads they even perform better than I expected. Smooth rolling with low resistance results in minimally reduced fuel consumption compared to previous Firestone. (0.2 L on the road) I don't rate the look of the tyre as I only care about the performance. I may comment on the durability after a longer run. In my opinion, very good and quiet tyres. Cornering is a pleasure now. Good choice. Read more Collapse

I bought them a few days after they appeared on oponeo. They looked good from the European label and I have no regrets. The tyres may not look the best from the side, as if you were riding on balloons, but they are great on the road. I have never lost grip on wet, dry or sandy roads. No aquaplaning. I have not experienced any cornering slip in the wet. The handling characteristics several times compensate for the average looks. Fuel consumption is also lower. Overall, highly recommended Read more Collapse

Surprisingly grippy tyre - cornering or braking? Not a problem for this tyre. It took me a while to get used to it after changing. Seems a little less reliable in the wet but that's just a guess. I don't work miracles in wet so I don't know what this tyre's capabilities are. It disperses water as it should and generally gives a very confident and precise driving experience. My previous Dunlop Fast Response tyres don't stand up to comparison - 120,000 km so I know what I'm talking about. Read more Collapse

It is difficult to determine all the parameters listed in this survey after having driven a few thousand kilometres. I have not checked how much the tread has worn down, but I am sure of one thing. The driving comfort has improved a lot in comparison to the previous Michelins, the tyres are quiet and the car does not run away in corners or ruts. The tyres seem underinflated, as they are soft, but this does not hinder their use. I have not noticed any difference in fuel consumption. Read more Collapse

Until now, I was driving on Bridgestone Turanza T01 which, in comparison to Goodyear, were very noisy and had much more rolling resistance. The tyres are excellent in the wet and go round bends like on rails, braking even at high speeds (160-180 km/h) does not make much of an impression on them either. The only thing I don't know is how long they last because I have only driven about 3,000 km on them.I highly recommend these tyres and I think that the next set will be the same. Read more Collapse

I had 4 tyres ContiSportContact-5 225/45 R18 95Y XL they were good grip on a dry road, but on wet roads they did not stick so well. They were very loud and I ride 120km / h 160km / h and they died very quickly because I only had 12 months. Now I have Goodyear Efficientgrip 225/45 R18 a few months are very good to stick on a dry road and on a wet road. They are quieter than the previous ones which I had. How long will I have? How long will they be? We will see. I recommend to +4 Read more Collapse

Practically a "top of the line" tyre. It would have been perfect for me had it not been for one disadvantage. It was supposed to be quiet and it generally is. Hmm..., I don't know how to write this to be 100% understood, but I will try. In turns and when riding in ruts, when it starts to edge, the noise level increases significantly. After prolonged use you can get used to it and ignore it, but at first it is quite annoying especially when you suggest the given noise level. Read more Collapse
