285/40 R19 Tyres

The tyres in size 285/40 R19 are designed for passenger cars of a sports character. Number 285 in the first position in the size is the exact designation of a tyre's tread width in millimetres. The next number denotes the tyre's profile height (which amounts 40% out of 285 millimetres of the tyre's tread width). The "R" present in the size is an information about the radial construction of the tyre. Number 19 at the end of the size label is the diameter of the wheel's rim in inches which can be installed with the tyre in size 285/40 R19. You don't know which tyre model to choose?
