I purchased the Nexen N8000 tires because relatively cheap despite belonging to the high performance category. Now have a very old and I wanted to spend as little as possible while maintaining the characteristics of sportsmanship as I like. The evidence shows that these tires meet these requirements. But the difference, especially in lateral grip and directionality (dry or wet) my previous Nokian Z G2 is noticeable. If I had to buy the tires to last until the end definitely prefer high-end models, like my previous Nokian (excellent value) or premium brands (in the past, I had the Bridgestone RE050: the tyre provide good grip both in dry and wet weather conditions so they are worth being recommended. The Nexen N8000 tyres are good quality product

Slightly water drains in case of rain, much of the risk of aquaplaning, high above 100 km / h noise

I bought this model after using the front tires Nokian and Michelin primacy (uphill from the house). I must say that Nexen is less than Nokian is a bit noisy, sometimes it seems to have less grip, maybe it's just me, wet cornering slips a little. But in my opinion based on the price / quality ratio is not bad. Besides my car mount tires 245 / 45R18 so some "defects" of them, for example, noise, goose nests and stability in the wet. I think if you pay the right Nexen's fine, but you can not expect it to be like having a Nokian and Michelin.

Ok, yes, they were cheap and do work, but you pay for what you get. My Alpina Roadster 3.4 already had Michelin drivers. I got on the right track and they stuck like glue. With these Nexen tires, I dare not take on a track. Many times in damp and wet conditions, I lost the rear end more than I would like. The tread is less than 6mm to 8mm of Michelen. I fear that the rigidity of the side wall, or lack of it is that losing your confidence in the fast corners. For a car that gets 60 0- 5secs, I will certainly return to Michelin next time. However, these nexens will get used and they have good acceleration and grip breaking, not simply trust in the wet.

Virtually no wet grip, I had these on the front and had to change them in the back as soon as I was driving in the wet. Do not buy them!
