Nexen N8000

I gladly recommend Nexen N8000 tyres to all who drive and it isn't about the price/ quality ratio, becaus those tyres should cost about 30 punds more per each. The car I'm driving is Ford Mondeo ST220, which has a power of 226hp and it's 4wd. The Nexen N8000 tyres are providing great tractoin so ESP system can take a holiday :) The reason of me being interested in those tyres is a fact that in my old vehicle I've had budget tyres, the car was a small one with an engine 1.2, 82hp so normal budget class should handle it. I've purchased KELLY tyres and for winter Kumho and i was satisfied, especially with winter ones. However when changing the car to heavier one I've decided to go for Goodyear UG7 for winter, I've spent a lot of money. It's good in acceleration on snow, but on fast corners and braking distanceiot isn't soo good. Going forward with my experience I've purchased Korean tyres and honesly it was right in spot. It's only beggining of usage (made about 500 miles) but I wanted to share my opinion about Nexen N8000 tyres. A little bit noisy but not too much, my car is soundproof so it's okay. I was sceptic about it, i thought that maybe the Nexen N8000 tyre will be hard to balance but it comes out as a good choice, nothing like this happened. Acceleration and braking are good, they are not noisy during braking and on roundabouts, no safety system turned on so far. Driving 80 mph and faster is okay, no problems. Traction, hmmm I don;t know, my car is not good in terms of fuel efficiency (V8 360HP) so I don't pay attention to that so much. I do not grade the durability because it's to soon.Inequalities suppresion on 245/45R18 is good. The Nexen N 8000 tyres is worth that price, it is a half of what Premium brand costs. I purchased the Nexen N8000 tires because relatively cheap despite belonging to the high performance category. Now have a very old and I wanted to spend as little as possible while maintaining the characteristics of sportsmanship as I like. The evidence shows that these tires meet these requirements. But the difference, especially in lateral grip and directionality (dry or wet) my previous Nokian Z G2 is noticeable. I am very happy with Nexen N8000 tyres, I have the Mini Cooper S They are very quiet and they are a way more comfortable than my previous tyres. The tyres are doing well on a wet surface. The Nexen N8000 are sport tyres and they are perform very well on in dry condition. As rain water i do recommend Nexen SU4 I owe the Audi A6 Allroad - something incredible. On the internet you can find opinnion that are wear off so quckly , I drove only 3000 miles and i cant confirm this information. The tyres still look like they were brand new. After making about 9 thousand miles I can say that the tyre is worth recommendation. 245/45R18 provides good grip on wet and dry. I drove normally, I don't prefer aggressive driving. Nexen N8000 are a little bit more noisy than my previous tyres but it is still barely hearable I have no problem with that. The radio is on so no worries. Treadwear is also satisfying. I think that after making 20- 25 thousand miles they would last for at least 2 seasons. The Nexen N8000 tyres are worth their price. Read more Collapse

Ok, yes, they were cheap and do work, but you pay for what you get. My Alpina Roadster 3.4 already had Michelin drivers. I got on the right track and they stuck like glue. With these Nexen tires, I dare not take on a track. Many times in damp and wet conditions, I lost the rear end more than I would like. The tread is less than 6mm to 8mm of Michelen. I bought this model after using the front tires Nokian and Michelin primacy (uphill from the house). I must say that Nexen is less than Nokian is a bit noisy, sometimes it seems to have less grip, maybe it's just me, wet cornering slips a little. Use the Nexen N8000 two seasons and I have traveled more than 25,000 km. Driving quietly enough, I must say that the wear of the tread is really great, I think I can easily do two seasons.
