Continental ContiWinterContact TS850 195/65 R15 91 T

I have done the mileage around 3200 miles on these tyres. Driving sensations are very positive. I used to drive mainly in the city on GoodYear tyres in the past (I had GY 4seasons previously) and they were quite good although they were all-season tyres. I knew that in this year I will have to drive in hard terrain so I have decided to buy Continental ContiWinterContact TS850. I have them in the size 195/65/R15. When it comes to the rolling resistance I have not noticed an increased fuel consumption. I have not experienced any problems while driving in snow and slush. On the wet road I have not noticed an aquaplaning phenomenon. The braking distance is perfect. I thought the tyres will have some problems on ice since majority of them do. However, they surprised me positively. Once I stopped my car immediately without a long skid although I was driving at high speed. Admittedly, the braking systems helped the car to slow down but I think the tyres contributed significantly to the outcome. Tyres are as good as I thought. I am fully satisfied with their quality. They meet my expectations. I did not have any problems with driving my car in winter. I was wondering how deep I can drive into the snow without getting stuck. The tyres turned out to be great both in deep snow and slush. They are perfect on dry surface as well (especially in corners). The ABS/ESP systems did not have to activate because a car did not skid at all. The tyres are quiet since they have been designed to absorb a road noise, making the driving more comfortable. I think that after changing the tyres pressure to the value recommended by the manufacturer the driving will be even more comfortable! I will check that in next winter season. I had these for 28k miles and they lasted well given that they are a winter tyre and designed for colder conditions. Noise was moderate and grip in wet conditions good, I didn't have a chance to test them in snow or ice as we had none last year. I would recommend these as a good tyre for the price and quite durable, the shoulders wear first on these so early rotation is necessary. Read more Collapse

Excellent tires, roll them in a variety of weather conditions (the charms of the current winter) and different surfaces (in the field, outside the city, in the city) and I am positively surprised. Very good drainage allows you to enjoy the ride, even in the days torrential (shame I can not say that on the windshield - Continental can take my opinion into consideration and produce a wiper because I would be certainly better than current major manufacturers in this market). In typical winter conditions and snow and slush excel sensational perfectly biting into a mass of snow and prevent slippage. They are characterized by high resistance to abrasion of the tread, despite fairly aggressive driving on expressways. I am sure that the buyer will be very pleased with the acquisition of these tires and really using these tires, I can say that it is worth the time to spend more to enjoy more driving pleasure.
