Nokian Tyres WR D4

I had the Nokian WR D4 tyres fitted over 2 months ago. I drove a little more than 750 miles on them with a 150 bhp car weighing 1.5 tons. Usually in the city. I've used Nokian WR-G2 for a few years now and was sceptical about the new WR-D4 tyres. They're actually better than the WR-G2 in all respects other than one - the WR-D4 is directional and therefore has to be installed to run with the correct rotation direction, whereas the WR-G2 could be used on any wheel. This means that the D4 can't be rotated as easily for even tyre wear as it is limited to one side of the vehicle. Overall though, I'm very happy with this tyre and it sticks like nobody’s business. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nokian tyres for winter driving, and with the performance of the D4 then it does seem to be an improvement.
