The Michelin ENERGY SAVER can be summed up in just a few words: reduced fuel consumption and shorter braking distances. This tyre is designed for everyday use in family cars, city cars and minivans. As well as safety and reliable drivability in any conditions, these tyres also offer reduced fuel consumption. This is due to the use of a special rubber compound, noted for its durability and lightness. This means that the tyre weighs less than other models of the same class, thus significantly reducing fuel consumption.

The Michelin ENERGY SAVER also has a long lifetime since the tyre is durable and wears evenly. This not only ensures that it lasts longer, but also guarantees a safer journey by providing an optimal performance throughout the tyre's lifetime. Using innovative solutions, the tyre's developers managed to reduce braking distances on wet surfaces by up to 3 metres compared with the previous generation of tyres. This is a significant difference, especially for drivers paying particular attention to safety when choosing a tyre. The Michelin ENERGY SAVER is one of the new generation of Michelin tyres that use silica instead of soot (previously used as one of the components of building tyres). The tyre therefore meets the highest ecological standards and is environmentally friendly both during its production and when in use.

Michelin

Michelin is the largest tyre producer in Europe. The brand currently specialises in the production of top-class tyres and found fame as the producer of Formula 1 tyres. Apart from its own brand, the group is also a majority shareholder in companies such as: Riken, Taurus, Siamtyre, Tigar, Euromaster, Warrior, Kormoran, Recamic, Kleber and BFGoodrich. The headquarters of the French company, founded in 1889, are in Clermont-Ferrand, the city where the brothers André and Édouard Michelin founded the company over 120 years ago.

A few words of introduction. I tested these tyres during my summer holidays. I tested them in Germany, Switzerland, France (1890 miles). In total more than 5600 km in three weeks. The surfaces on which the tyres were tested were practically all that can be found in winter conditions (after all these are summer tyres). Driving on the motorway was very comfortable and calm. I must also mention that I had a situation where I had to make a quick maneuver at a speed of 120 km per hour, even if it was dangerous, the tyres did not lose grip and I did not lose control over the car. There were also difficult situations where I risked an accident but after all - it was my undeniable fault.... As far as braking is concerned I am also very satisfied with the Michelin Energy Saver. Finally, let me add that on wet ground one can drive safely. In conclusion, the model is worthy of recommendation. Read more Collapse

I bought these tyres in a special offer and I don't regret it. They are worth the price, previously I had matadors - complete rubbish. The car started to roll more smoothly and the power steering started to work more smoothly. The car started to roll lighter, power steering started to work lighter. Skoda has a hard suspension, so these rubbers being very flexible dampen noticeably the noise of the noisy suspension. In addition, the car is quiet, which I had to get used to. In corners on wet pavement I enter like on rails, it is just fun to drive. As for fuel consumption and tyre wear, I have not yet formed an opinion. All in all, I am pleasantly surprised that everything I have heard about this tyre comes true. I strongly recommend it as a professional driver for 20 years. Read more Collapse

I have been driving for about 15 years on Michelin tyres of various types, both summer and winter. I have been using the ENERGY SAVER summer tyres and ALPIN 4 winter tyres for about 4-5 years now, and I am satisfied with them. The car / large van / handles well in all weather conditions, both in the city and on the motorway, and I have never had a moment's thought of being let down on long journeys or in the city. My wife also uses Michelin summer-winter tyres, and she also praises them. Of course, it is not the cheapest purchase, but I believe that you should not cut corners on your own safety and that the expense, although painful for the pocket, balances the costs of use, counting both the time of use and the mileage. I have been driving for 30 years and I think Michelin brand tyres are unbeatable. I have had different brands and I will not name them, but the Michelins are truly unbeatable, both on dry and on wet roads. They are durable and even after 50 000 km you cannot see any signs of wear. They behave perfectly on wet pavement, braking distance is the same as on dry pavement, in any case you can say there is no noticeable difference. When driving you can literally hear them sticking to the asphalt surface. They are quiet and you can feel the driving comfort after changing from other brands to Michelins. In the middle class they are unrivalled and I will always stick to this brand. I have not tested the higher classes. Read more Collapse

The Michelin Energy Saver tyres were the original tyres for the car. My only previous experience was with Debica tyres. It is true that the Grande Punto has a good suspension but the Michelin Energy Saver are impressive in the corners. Although the width is only 175 mm, but when entering the corner at 40-45 km per hour they compress very very well - without a sound! Recently, in a similar curve, I entered at a speed of 50 km and I heard a slight noise, but it is already fifth season....! In my opinion there is nothing to complain about! Very good tyres and the price is not exaggerated. If you compare them with other tyres, the Michelin Energy Saver is the best! Read more Collapse

On mountain roads I strongly recommend keeping the tyre pressure 3/4 decimal points higher. This will give you the best regular wear and durability in terms of kilometres, without affecting comfort. You should be slightly more careful when cornering on wet roads. It will still maintain good grip when braking suddenly and on water planing. I also noticed a decrease in fuel consumption of 2%. 25,000 km currently driven on mountain roads for 70%, current wear of 75% before the wear indicator. I hope I've been helpful. My professional activity: public taxi service. My driving experience: since 1979. My total kilometres driven to date: 2,575,000. Read more Collapse

Excellent long-distance choice, hard tyre, has proved its worth in 40+ degree heat on motorways and in foreign cities. Other than that, good compound, can handle in the rain but there is a slight axle slip when accelerating too rapidly. Rolling resistance is GENIAL !!! Really after taking off the gas the car has more inertia, less fuel consumption. Previously I had Conti Premiums and they were also great (similar characteristics). Braking OK. It is worth taking the higher speed index for better safety, less rocking in corners. A choice for those who value driving comfort and economy. Top quality workmanship and great balancing !!! I bought the tyres second hand one season with max 3000km on them for a trivial price. Year 2014, new tread. The tyres are ultra quiet, at a speed of 180 km / h you can not hear them at all and you do not feel that the car is driving so much. The braking performance is excellent on wet as well as dry pavement. I can drive into bends that I used to take at low speeds up to 60 km/h without any complaints. The car grips the road with confidence. I had no idea I would be so pleasantly surprised. If anyone is looking for good tyres you can easily order Michelin Energy Saver. I bought them cheap but they are worth it. Read more Collapse

I recommend these tyres to everyone, I bought them from this shop last year, I drove one season and was very happy with them. Very well balanced, quiet and economical. Very good on dry pavement, great grip and handling. Slightly worse in the wet but still very good compared to other tyres. I haven't noticed that the braking distance is much longer. The only thing I don't like about them is the look, if on the 14 the look was ok, now on the 16 it could be worse. But hey, you don't buy tyres for the look, the benefits outweigh the disadvantages, so this year I will definitely buy the same model for the new one. Read more Collapse

Excellent tyres, in practically every respect. I bought them with a view to reducing fuel consumption, and indeed the car smokes a little less (only noticeable on long journeys). I am surprised by the properties of this tyre - great grip, also in the wet (I had to brake very hard in the rain and thanks to these tyres there was no accident with a pedestrian), and they are really quiet. They are not cheap, but in this case you simply pay for quality + features. I would definitely recommend them! I also recommend buying the tyres via oponeo.pl as the cost is significantly lower. As it rains, I feel that the car is sliding. Uniroyal and Firestone work much better on the wet floor. Quiet tires, good traction in a straight line. Aquaplaning - very sensitive and well-behaved in the rain tires, but when you stop the car tires sometimes abruptly derailed. This is not tragic, but I was already using the best tires. Walls flexible sidewalls do not allow to take turns dynamically. Profile 205/55 is a balance between comfort and precision, but sometimes in a tight tires can deform. On the other tires my car shows what she is capable of. Energy Saver is able to do so. Price for punciaka was because the space for the size 165/65 R 14 260zł + is space. The biggest advantage is the durability of these tires, you have to admit them with a robust set of 6-7 years. On the board already spent more than 50,000 kilometers, bought the car, so actually have a lot more mileage. Very good behavior and inequality amortization. First of all, quiet. Burn a little smaller than the winter Happy New Year UG7 +, but higher than the Kumho IZEN XW13. Surprisingly slow wear of the tread. Ideal for dry pavement, wet is not bad, but without the euphoria, enough for a quiet ride for most drivers. I recommend, worth the high price. Read more Collapse

I bought a whole set of tires for a good price. Express delivery for the exchange of the second day. I drove 6000 miles on these tires. km. Tires perform perfectly, very low rolling resistance, which translates into better fuel economy, do not make noise. Just yesterday I had the opportunity strongly inhibited before the crosswalk because the light turned red (I might add that I had a hundredth of a second to react) - it perfectly - I recommend !!!
