The Ventus evo K137 is a mid-range summer tyre from the Korean manufacturer. The Hankook tyre offers grip while taking wet corners and, thanks to the stiffness of the outer blocks, also high performance on dry roads. The anti-slip tread guarantees safety on a wide range of routes. The quietness of the model is also worth mentioning, providing the comfort necessary for summer journeys.
Hankook Ventus evo K137 - the ideal tyre for wet roads
Hankook has ensured that the Ventus evo K137 has wider cross grooves than the previous version (S1 evo3), which widen towards the sides of the tyre. This reduces noise and, together with the Ventus' large contact area, translates into even more effective braking on wet roads. According to the manufacturer, the improvement in deceleration efficiency is 7% over the previous version of the model. As a result, Hankook was able to put an A on the label in the category of driving on water-covered roads (the highest rating).
In addition, the tread has a bevelled rear edge, so the front edges can grip the road better. This means that a chamfering technique has been used. The Korean company proves in tests that the chamfering affects braking performance on dry roads - according to the manufacturer, 6% more than on the previous model. The tyre also owes a lot to the even pressure, uniform distribution of contact pressure, and optimised friction, making it a long-life tyre.
Key benefits of the Hankook Ventus evo K137 tyre:
- Carefully selected resins guarantee the new compound extra grip in a variety of conditions.
- According to Hankook, mileage is up to 32% higher compared to the previous model.
- Great for fast driving - guarantees high grip and braking performance on both wet and dry tracks.
- The large and flat profile of the protective rim flange (RPB) improves the stiffness needed for fast cornering.
- Quiet operation to enhance riding comfort.

Korean Hankook is a mid-range tyre company - it offers an excellent compromise between price and quality that will satisfy experienced drivers. The status of the Far Eastern company is evidenced by the fact that Hankook tyres are the first equipment on Audi or BMW cars. It is interesting to note that the company became the tyre supplier for the World Rally Championship in 2025, replacing the Pirelli brand.
