Opinion from outside IE
Tyres perform better after a few hundred km. Very good dry and wet performance. In my opinion they don't wear too quickly, are quite durable and I haven't noticed any beating while driving. The soft sidewall of the tyre is superb at damping unevenness in the road. I previously had the Goodyear Duragrip and they are comparable, although the Efficient Grip is slightly better, I can highly recommend these tyres. The tyres surprised me particularly pleasantly in a sudden emergency stop situation on the motorway, which happened to me once - the braking distance was considerably shorter than that of the car in front of me at the same speed, avoiding a collision. Very good control and grip in corners, also in the wet at high speeds. The only thing I noticed was a strange behaviour when starting off aggressively in the wet - the car seems to "jump" when the wheels lose grip. Read more Collapse

I would definitely recommend it to anyone! The tyre is not the cheapest, 16s are much cheaper, but it is a purchase I am very happy with. I was prompted to buy Goodyear winter tyres, which are also very quiet (like not one summer tyre). This was also the main parameter of choice, then the rest i.e. economy, tread appearance and only the rest. I was considering Pirelli's of a similar class, but the reviews suggested that the Goodyears should be "longer lasting". Read more Collapse

I have no comparison with other tyres in this class. What I can say is that it is very quiet. I mainly drive outside of the city so this is an important aspect for me. Apart from that, I have not been able to put the tyre into a skid even when taking very dynamic turns. It is known that if you overdo it, you cannot cheat the laws of physics. I cannot assess the durability, as I have driven about 7-8 thousand km on it so far. No signs of wear are visible. Read more Collapse

I have been riding on these tyres for over a month. Quiet with excellent grip. Basically, I don't notice any difference in their behaviour on dry and wet pavement in still moderate temperatures (spring). In the rain, in the rear-view mirror I can see clear, b.sharp marks on the asphalt, so the tyres remove the water perfectly. There's not much I can add as I've only driven a little over 1,500 km so far, including about 300 on the road, but so far so OK! Read more Collapse

For me, the choice was obvious. My previous tyres were also Goodyear. I was not surprised by the smoothness with which the car moves. Very low rolling resistance makes the car flow. When you ease off the accelerator, the car very slowly loses speed. The tyres are quiet, even on rough roads. It is difficult to lose grip on them despite dynamic driving. I would definitely recommend these tyres to anyone who wants to drive safely for the next few years. Read more Collapse

My first set of tyres were Continentals, which were rather good. But the next ones were Goodyear Excellence, which were even better than Continentals, generated less noise and had better grip. Now I have made 10000 miles on Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance and I was not let down. They are even better than Excellence, enable to drive in different velocities with less noise. Perfectly efficient while breaking. Perfect wetgrip on different surfaces. Read more Collapse

Very good, comfortable tyres. I'm happy with my choice, as the car drives well, holds the road and doesn't fail in "emergency" situations. The tyres are good at damping bumps, which in the case of the mega stiff Corolla is a big plus. Fuel consumption has also gone down, and quite a bit. I wanted to buy Michelin Energy Saver, but my advisor convinced me to go with GY and that's good, because I still have money left in my wallet. I recommend them. Read more Collapse

After driving on different brand tyres I decided to try Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance. I thought the price will be too high, but it turned out that it is worth its value. The tyre is quiet and comfortable and also really soft, but the grip is perfect. Rapid acceleration or braking, turning - the grip is still awesome. It is clearly visible that the engineers spent some time to make the tyre which is soft, but comfortable to drive on. Read more Collapse

Generally speaking, the tyres are good, they have excellent grip when cornering. The disadvantages are that they wear out quickly and the sidewalls are soft, which means that when you move the steering wheel faster you get a floating/boosting sensation (I don't know how to call it exactly), I didn't have this on the B Turans, I have a hard suspension and the car felt like it was driving on a track when I did this, I felt more confident. I have been driving on these Goodyears since this year and have found them very good. First and foremost, the fuel consumption has gone down and I've gone from a tyre width of 195 to 205, but most importantly, the tyres grip both on dry and wet surfaces is excellent :) and the tyres have very good grip on corners and braking. As for the durability, it is too soon to say. Overall the tyres are very good and I can safely recommend them :) Read more Collapse

I do not know if my opinion is reliable, as I have only been using the summer tyre for a short time in spring, almost winter conditions. One thing is certain, it is quiet, even very quiet. And looking at the fuel consumption on the computer (the computer is not always accurate) it is an economical tyre. The tread pattern " not amazing ", it is quite traditional and not distinctive. If anyone finds this review useful, I am very pleased. Read more Collapse

I wanted to buy another tyre. However, due to a problem with the completion of my order, the sales assistant recommended GOODYEAR tyres. The tyre surprised me with its driving quality. Good grip on wet and dry roads ensures driving. The noise level is really low and you can feel it. I can definitely recommend this tyre 100%. My driving style is fairly moderate, but sometimes I like to push the pedal a bit. I'd definitely recommend it. Read more Collapse

The tyre feels safe on a wet road in a corner, and I know what I'm talking about because I live in a steep mountainous area where serpentines are a daily reality on my commute to work. But it also performed great when glued on the motorways when we went to Italy on holiday. I'm amazed at the value for money (£200 for such a tyre seems really not much to me). The only thing I'm worried about is longevity, but I can't judge that yet. Read more Collapse

I have done on Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance almost 5000 miles. Very differentiated routes: Big city, but in majority - long trips. Tyre is very good for me. Soft sidewalls make the impression that you can swing the car which should be a drawback, but you can feel that on turns the car has excellent grip. The most important thing is its wet grip. You can drive in heavy rain and on wet asphalt, and the grip is still perfect. Read more Collapse

Around 2,000 kilometres is not too much to judge, but certainly very good comfort on the motorway and a pleasant softness in town should be mentioned. They perform particularly well on streets with tram tracks. Here, however, a strange phenomenon - despite their softness, they very much transmit vibrations when driving on the tracks to the bodywork. Overall, I consider the tyres to be very satisfactory and can recommend them. Read more Collapse

Overall, all parameters are very good for the price." - could be a little quieter, but this also depends on the car and the road surface - when fitted to the rim it feels under-inflated, creating a slight sidewall deflection, but this does not detract from everyday use. I would generally recommend Goodyear tyres as I also have winter tyres from this company and since using them I haven't taken my shovel out of the boot. Read more Collapse

Affordable tyres, the car handles well in the wet and is predictable. I feel that the tyres are quiet, it also seems to me that the fuel consumption has dropped by about 5%-10% (I don't know to what extent this is due to the tyres or maybe it is a placebo effect :-). The braking distance on wet pavement is shorter than on previous tyres - it "holds" the road even in the wet. Bought for around £50/piece - would recommend. Read more Collapse

Hello I recommend the Goodyear Efficientgrip Performance tyres Excellent handling in corners both on wet and dry surfaces, the noise level is rated at 5 as every tyre makes a noise, and as for the damping every tyre feels something, I have owned the tyre for almost half a year and in that short time the tyre has not worn out at all in spite of a considerable amount of kilometres for a summer tyre I would recommend it Read more Collapse

Tyres are quiet, economical and brake well in wet. I have a heavy car 2.0 turbo petrol and inflate them to 2.5 bar, so it seems to float in corners, but this impression disappears when you get used to the soft. For economy, quietness and excellent pothole damping you can forgive it :-) Now when driving you can clearly hear which asphalt is quiet and which is loud, comfort above all, for sporty driving choose another Read more Collapse

The tyre really performs confidently in both wet and dry. I previously drove on Michelin tyres, whereas with this purchase I got the same shelf for a lot less money (some £50 left in my wallet). At high speeds, there is quite a lot of noise in the car (a little more than the Michelin, I think), but you also have to take into account the fact that the Skoda Octavia II does not boast a particularly soundproofed interior. These are my first 'premium' tyres and I am very satisfied. Cornering behaviour, grip, wet behaviour - no complaints. Economy and noise - also without reservations. As far as durability is concerned - after more than 10k I can't see any significant wear, so they should still work. Overall, I am satisfied and recommend it, compared to various tyres I have had before (usually low-end), these perform very well. Read more Collapse

The goodyear efficientgrip performance tyre in size 225/40/18 is a great tyre with low rolling resistance, which in my case has led to an improvement in fuel consumption of 0.5 to 0.7 litres per 100 km, which I am very pleased with :) Both on dry and wet roads the tyre performs brilliantly.... They are more comfortable than the Continental tyres I have used before:) which is important for a 40 profile. I recommend! Read more Collapse

You can feel the difference immediately on the first drive after fitting. They stick to the road very nicely, they do not squeal on bends (which used to happen with Pirelli) and the braking distance is significantly reduced !!! I was previously driving on some invention given by the car manufacturer. You just have to be careful with this size on potholes and higher curbs, because you can damage the rim :-) Read more Collapse

Very quiet and comfortable tyres. Excellent absorption of bumps. Low rolling resistance - fuel consumption has dropped noticeably compared to the old Continental. However, they are extremely soft - on the road above 100km/h I did not feel confident driving the car. Ugly looking on the rim. I changed these Googyears to Vredestain Ultrac Cento and I'm satisfied, for me Vredestein is the perfect tyre. Read more Collapse

Probably the best tyres I have ever purchased in 46 years of motoring for numerous vehicles of varying performance. Wear evenly with excellent road holding and wet/ dry grip.On my second set of 4 purchased from you. Best price I could find anywhere, being able to fit and balance myself saved me £84 over next best price from local suppliers. Almost buy 4 and pay for 3. Can',t say better than that ! After a long search, I decided on these tyres because I was convinced by the very good test data and the low price, as it turned out after a while for tyres of excellent quality. The tyre handles perfectly when driving over puddles of water and also performs well on dry roads. The wear on the tyre will become apparent after a few thousand miles, but so far so good. I recommend these tyres. Read more Collapse

The tyre, as promised by the manufacturer, is very quiet and comfortable. It's difficult for me to judge its effect on fuel consumption as I only put them on the rear axle. They hold up well, but the soft rubber makes them not particularly suitable for sporty driving. We'll see after the season to what extent they wear. For now, I am satisfied and can recommend them with a straight face Read more Collapse

New season, new tyres. It fell on the Goodyears, as they won most of the tests I reviewed. After a few thousand kilometres, I am now convinced that they were the right choice. Great traction in the wet, and that's the most important thing for me, as I find that in the dry every tyre holds up at least well. I am very satisfied and would recommend to anyone who puts safety first. Read more Collapse

I bought tyres in size 205/55 R16, The tyres perform very well in wet and dry, and have excellent low rolling resistance, so you get very low fuel consumption! But they are quite noisy and in my opinion this is their main drawback. As for the durability, after driving about 5,000 km on them, you can't see any wear so it's very good. All in all, I would recommend them. Read more Collapse

I can't judge the durability so far, as this is my 1st season on these tyres. Normally, my tyres last me 3 years, max 4. I was not disappointed with the wet grip - they hold up well.I recommend Read more Collapse

The biggest disadvantage of the tyre is probably its appearance, on bumps the car looks like it is standing on flak. The second issue is economy - I didn't feel this and didn't notice a decrease in fuel consumption, but the most important issue is driving comfort, i.e. the car handles very well on both dry and wet roads, with no audible tyre work while driving. I am on my second set of these. Ride and handling very good. I usually replace all 4 at once and I switch from front to back every so often to even out the wear. You'd need to drive very hard to break dry grip. I'll be buying these again next time. Wet grip is also very good. Read more Collapse
