Tread:
The state-of-the-art tread pattern is manufactured using an innovative rubber compound with silica to optimise tyre stiffness. This reduces rolling resistance, CO2 emissions and tyre wear. The tyres also include a cool cushion layer to reduce heat generated by the tyre. This results in lowering the rolling resistance by up to 18%. The tread pattern itself is characterised by double-wide circumferential grooves, wide lateral channels symmetrically distributed over the entire tyre surface, and multiple siping on the tyre shoulder. Siping prevents the tyre from collecting water in front of it and offers better drainage to enhance emergency braking on wet roads and protects against aquaplaning. It was manufactured using the thin cross section technology.
Product information:
The tyre provides short braking distances on any type of surface. It enables you to achieve higher speed and increased fuel efficiency for lower maintenance costs. Driving a car fitted with the Goodyear Efficientgrip Cargo is safer, especially on wet roads. The tyres are lighter, more durable and harder. They are characterised by high grip and reduced noise level. The specially designed cushion layer reduces heat generated by the tyre and does not inhibit its rolling movement.
The Goodyear Efficientgrip Cargo is extremely light. The innovative and technically advanced components used in its manufacture decrease tyre weight by 5%. This optimizes even tyre wear and reduces resistance while driving. As a result, you can drive up to 10,000 kilometres more compared with the previous model. Manufactured using modern technologies, the tyres meet the new EU guidelines only just entering into force.
The Goodyear Efficientgrip Cargo was produced by the third largest tyre company in terms of production volume. The company includes some well-known brands: Dunlop, Fulda, Sava and Dębica. The company also produces wheels for aerospace industry, race cars, and industrial machinery. Its product versatility and quality have gathered a large group of satisfied users.
