165/65 R15 tyres are designed for family cars. The size of the tyre comes in a form of a string of numbers and a letter which informs about the type of the tyre's construction ('R" stands for radial). The first number expresses in millimetres the tyre's tread width. In the case of the 165/65 R15 tyre it is 165 mm.
