215/80 R15 tyres are designed for 4x4s. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall where it is provided in a form of a string of signs. The tread width of the tyre is provided by the first number in the tyre size label. In the case of the 215/80 R15 tyre it is 215 mm. The percentage ratio between the tyre's profile height and its width is represented by the second number (here it is 80% out of 215 mm).
