215/60 R15 tyres are produced with executive cars and family cars in mind. The size label can be easily seen on the tyre's sidewall in a form of a string of signs. 215/60 R15. The second number equals the percentage ratio of the tyre's profile height to its tread width (in this case 60% out of 215 mm). The last number constitutes the diameter of the wheel rim (provided in inches) on which the tyre should be installed. The "R" in the tyre's size denotes its radial construction.
