275/60 R15 tyres are installed in 4x4s. The size of the tyre can be seen on its sidewall where it is easily noticed in a form of a string of signs. The first number denotes the tread width of the tyre. The number is provided in millimetres which in the case of the 275/60 R15 tyre is 275 mm. The second number equals the percentage ratio between the tyre's height and its tread width. In this case it is 60% out of the 265 mm of tread width.
