I recommend Pirelli Scorpion ATR as specified by the manufacturer, and in my opinion has managed to combine the characteristics of on and off road tyres. Second set, I bought for Mark 4 1973 with rear wheel drive and I’m surprised how good grip they have on wet roads. I had previously Goodride fitted. They were generally good and quiet in summer, but wet snow totally bad. After one year of use was perhaps 4-5 mm tread only left. Pirelli even they are more expensive, really recommend it. Life of my whole family its worth paying extra for premium brand!
