    Opinion from outside IE

They work great both on dry and wet surfaces. I put on new tyres in March and sleet and snow caught me on the road at 1-2 degrees Celsius. The tyres were holding well and it didn't feel uncomfortable that I no longer had winter tyres on. Regarding durability, it is difficult to say for now, because I have traveled for only 2,500 km from the beginning. I recommend Yokohama tyres to everyone because they are really great. I used tyres from virtually most of the leading manufacturers (I've never had Goodyear) and so far my best opinion is about Yokohama, Dunlop and Toyo Tires. In my opinion, Michelin and Continental tyres are overrated. They are not better at all when it comes to driving characteristics, than the above mentioned brands, and they wear strangely quickly, which I can understand, but they do not like the sun, because after 3 years they get puffed up and micro-cracks are created and although the tread could still be used, I lost my trust in them and I find them repulsive. To sum up, I recommend Yokahama BlueEarth A AE 50 tyres. The inscription is made in Japan, however, this doesn't mean lack of high quality! Read more Collapse

The tyre works great so far. Although I ordered other Yokohams, i.e. A01, and when I got the package I got scared because I got the ae50, I was afraid they would be loud and less economical (I didn't know them). I decided to try, fit and ride. I have been driving since the beginning of March, almost half a year, but I am happy with them, they smooth out the unevenness and finally, the computer in the car shows that the fuel consumption has dropped by 0.3l so far. Maybe this is not enough, but last year I went on a Michelin and magical 8l per 100km could not fall on my computer. I know that the computer is not a good point of reference for fuel consumption (especially for me), but since these tyres moved down it means something. The noise in them is practically comparable to previous tyres (rating at a speed of about 100km / h), so I think that so far I gained savings in fuel consumption. I think that next year I will look here and describe the tyres in more detail how they worked during this time. Read more Collapse

I have been a Yokohama AE50 tyre user for several months now. So far I can say that they are great on both wet and dry surfaces. They let us know about their grip even at low temperatures and during rain. Now it will be warmer - and therefore better for this type of tyre. After all, it's summer - not winter. The tyre has several protections on the rims, which is definitely a plus. The tyre suppresses noise very well, it is certainly felt on the highway compared to the previous tyre. Tyres in this version (model) AE50 withstands up to Vmax 210 / 240km / h. As for the characteristics of the tyre - a sports car is another plus. Generally: quiet, holds well, lasted after almost a year of use. Let's see how the case will look after a few years. Read more Collapse

I have fitted them last year after my friend persuaded me. I would describe my driving style as dynamic. Until now, regardless of the brand, after the season, my tyres were significally worn (I changed them every 3 seasons max). Things are a bit different with Yokohama. As I changed tyres now, I took a good look at them and I must say that they look the best of all. The tread rubs very slowly, despite my driving style. When it comes to driving, the tyres are quiet, the roads stick very well, even when it rains. I don't feel any discomfort while driving. In my opinion, if someone likes dynamic driving and had a problem with fast wearing tyres Yokohama is a good choice. The best for me so far. Read more Collapse

I bought summer Yokohama AE50 tyres a bit at random. In the salon they offered cheaper models from other companies, but I chose those. Outstanding tyres. They stick as if stuck. No matter if it is dry or wet. They brake in a spectacular way, they bite into asphalt. The racing company and tyre behavior confirm this. One more thing - the tyre has a rim protector, covering the rim, which is very useful when parking at the curb. To sum up - I like incredible things and this shot turned out to be a bullseye. Yokohama certainly deserves the trust. I will buy again. Read more Collapse
