    Opinion from outside IE

Before changing the rear tyres, I was using PIRELLI P7s in size 225/60 R18 W, now with these YOKOHAMA ADVAN SPORT V103Bs in the equivalent size 255/55 R18 Y, I have been able to notice that the car is more stable and absorbs the irregularities of the road very well. Both in dry and wet conditions it responds quite well and the car does not lose traction. You can drive very fast on bends when the road is dry, but you lose some grip on wet ground, although it does not behave badly either. As for the rolling noise, in my case I have not noticed more noise than with other tyres that I have mounted previously, and in fact, I would say that they are barely noticeable. I recommend it without a doubt Read more Collapse

Car is 300hp on the front axle and those are nothing special. On dry you have to drop below the normal air pressure for it to stay on, on hot asphalt it's disappointing again both while starting or braking. On wet they're horrible, while entering a puddle does not cause any problems, braking and accelerating are a total fail. Noise is normal. They're very hard but even despite that with mildly aggressive driving they get worn relatively quickly, they maaaaaybe will last 30,000 km. I'll definitely not buy again and absolutely don't recommend them for stronger cars. Maybe for weaker engines around 150 hp the tyre would be good. Honestly, I can't think of a single good thing about these tyres. Read more Collapse

I may not have used up many tyres, but so far I've had Pirelli, Dębica Pasio, Yokohama A Drive on my previous car and Bridgestone ER300 on my current one. So far Advan sport seems to be the best. I may not have driven too many kilometers and I will give my final opinion at the end, but so far it has been amazing, it behaves the same on wet as on dry. Its only drawback is that it is noisy, but Bridgestone was also noisy, maybe a little less. On the road it behaves as if it was glued to the road, you can easily take corners at higher speeds, of course everything within reason ;). I recommend them with a clear conscience. I haven't tested many tyres and I'm not a fanatic who is picky about details, but these particular ones are excellent for me and in my opinion they have no flaws. For me, a layman in tyre matters, each tyre is a piece of rubber that rolls on the ground, but Yokohamas, they undoubtedly have the advantage of slowly wearing out and looking great on the car. From many other reviews I can surmise that they have very good driving properties, I can only write that I feel driving on them is very good and I also have tyres made by this company on another car. I recommend them to everyone, also because of the price. Read more Collapse

I drive about 120,000 km per year. I change summer tyres twice during the season for new ones. I have always, always had some strange problems with tyres, blocking, excessive wear, humming, tearing on the edges, despite the car being 100% working. I bought Advan sport by accident, I didn't know much about these tires, a bit to experiment and this is the first tyre with which I have never had any problems, and driving a car in the rain on sharp turns is simply amazing. With full responsibility, for me it is the best tyre in the world. It is not cheap but satisfaction is guaranteed. Read more Collapse
