The tyre's design is based on a symmetric tread with a very dense web of sipes laid out at various angles. This allows to better latch onto the terrain, even if it is covered with water or snow. The slanted channels quickly transport the accumulating liquids into central grooves which push them away from the crown of the tyre. It protects against hydrodynamic skidding and ensures safe driving in all conditions.
This tread pattern comes with another significant benefit. As a result of its characteristic layout, the tread provides protection against loss of grip, retaining a constant, wide contact area between the rubber and surface of the terrain. This effect is further reinforced with the use of a modern rubber compound that not only protects against negative effects of tread deformations, but also prevents excessive wear of the tread surface. This allows for a long and safe use.
