With the special rubber compound based on functional elastomers and the addition of silica, Michelin CrossClimate+ maintains its performance both in summer and in winter (which is proved by the 3PMSF affixed on the side).

The tyre was tested in temperatures from -30°C to +40°C and the tests ran for nearly 5 million kilometres. The manufacturer has managed to improve the durability, which is even 25% higher compared to other premium all-season tyres. The properties of the tyre’s surface enhance the grip even on wet roads, which makes travelling on CrossClimate+ safe.

Michelin CrossClimate+ has a directional tread pattern with V-shaped grooves. The use of such a pattern implies the need of directional installation, as per the “Rotation” marking. Thanks to the deep grooves and drain notches, the model perfectly drains water from under the crown ply.

Additionally, the self-locking 3D sipes support braking on dry surfaces and ensure mobility on snowy roads. The tread pattern increases the effect of engagement on snow, and with the high stiffness the tyre is more durable.

Michelin

At Michelin, they focus on high product quality. The brand has been active on the market since 1889 and has constantly developed by introducing new technologies and surprising solutions. The brand sets the direction of development for the entire industry, so it’s no surprise that they want to be the leaders by improving their technologies for reliable and safe tyres.

    Opinion from outside IE

I was looking for quiet tyres and Michelin Crossclimate+ definitely is that what I expected. Previously I had some different Michelin model and I was happy with it so I decided to try another one from this brand. Michelin Crossclimate+ works well whole year around. If you have any doubts try to drive same car with this tyres fitted and them with some other brand. Difference is huge. This one gives a pleasant time during driving and sense of safety too. Recommended even if price is not a lowest one but remember that you do not need to change them for winter or summer models as they are all weather product. Read more Collapse

I was wondering for a while if I should buy Michelin Crossclimate+ but finally I decided to give it a try. Excellent on dry road, on wet asphalt better than most of the competitors. During winter weather this Michelin model performs exceptionally well. Braking is just perfect even on some slush or light snow. They are quiet and comfortable as well which makes them even more valuable. I can recommend them with no doubts. Read more Collapse

I have been using this type of tire for years, starting with the previous Cross Climat on the work van (on which I now have the Michelin Crossclimate+) and then using it on my private car with great satisfaction. This model works perfectly for summer and winter weather and it allows you to avoid changing tyres for each season and save some money and time though. I wish that it would be available in all sizes. Michelin Crossclimate+ is really comfortable tyre model. Remember that it is not sportager product as every all weather tyre but they provides safety and sense of confidence during when driving. Braking is more than ok. In my opinion they are much better than any other premium all weather models. I drive quite a lot and that is why I can recommend them with clear conscience. I was a little bit skeptical about this model but after some reading some tests and opinions I decided to buy it. Can not regret at all, great choice. Michelin Crossclimate+ works excellent on wet and dry asphalt, more than ok on slush or snow and even when a temperature is really low you can not feel any difference (which is quite common for all season tyres).
