Imperial Snowdragon 3 are tyres designed especially for medium and higher class passenger cars. This model is a perfect connection of good performances and reasonable price. Rubber mixture used for manufacturing facilitates driving in winter conditions.

Grooves of asymmetrical thread are intended to drain water, snow, and after snow mud Thanks to Imperial Snowdragon 3 all manoeuvres and driving are safer. Reinforced structure of tyre is additional protection against abrasions, thanks to which you may enjoy its parameters for its whole lifespan.

This model is manufactured of flexible rubber mixture, compliant with strict European standards. Material is friendly to the environment and ensures that the tyre meets all parameters characteristic to this tyre for the whole lifespan. Opinion from outside IE

There are many positive opinions about this tire in the internet. I suspect that the authors may be people who did not use much more expensive, top models (the top model is not necessarily the top brand, though usually). Well, after converting summer tires (Dunlop Sport Maxx RT 245/40/18 - supposedly one of the quietest) for winter one, you could notice two meaningful changes: very quiet performance and quite dangerous behavior of the car in the usual, but dynamic driving. The sport suspension does not hide tire defects so the differences were immediately noticeable for me without any extreme testing. Immediately after shifting the wheels, so in identical conditions (dry surface, about 10 degrees) the braking distance increased by 50%. With decisive, but not cracking cornering, the car buckled like damaged sleeves and was carried outside. On a wet surface, the braking distance is also longer than on summer tires, although not so drastically. However, there is a low aquaplaning tendency. I have no experience with snow - this year it will not be much better. The tire could not be perfectly balanced even after 3 drafts. At frequent speed of 50-60 mph, rumbling is heard. A year ago, I was using the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D (tread wear rate approximately 40%, but these were 4 years old so I had to replace them.. This year I bought the Imperial Snowdragon 3, and my first impressions are they are very similar to the Dunlop tyres I was using previously. They are a quiet-to-drive tyre and they handle brilliantly in deep snow. I felt my Dunlop’ tyres were better in the wet, but these still perform adequately for my needs. The braking is superb in most conditions and they provide great value for money. I believe 100%, that you are getting a tyre spec of a Dunlop/Michelin at a quarter of the price. It is quite a durable tyre, but I recommend changing tyres every 4 years, no matter what the brand is, as the rubber hardens. In summary, a much better winter tyre than premium brand Read more Collapse

I am very satisfied with my Imperial Snowdragon 3 winter tyres. My ride is now much more precise and careful: these tyres have even reduced my level of fatigue too. They are very stable when cornering. At fast speeds, think more than 100mph, they are safe and extremely quiet, which I did not expect, to be honest. I would definitely buy some more of these tyres when I need to. I have travelled more than 1000miles on them in 5 days, and they have performed brilliantly on wet and dry roads alike. I am just waiting to test them thoroughly on snow. Finally, I am sincerely delighted with the shipping (within 24 hours, they were delivered) and the Oponeo call centre operatives were great. Overall, a great tyre, from a great company. Read more Collapse

I bought these tyres (Imperial Snowdragon 3) especially for the winter season. I drove about 6000 miles on them, in a dynamic driving style. On snow, the tyres perform very well. The grip is good, and the traction they deliver when pulling away is superb. On dry roads, they perform admirably too. I was always in control and the car had a stable feel. On wet roads, the braking distance, although not great, was a lot better than my previous tyre. The tyre is quite durable and after 6000miles of driving the tread looks like new. Previously I had used the Dayton DW510, but they were not as good as these tyres. From my experience, these are a good budget winter tyre, that perform well in the wet, on ice or snow. Tires meet the basic assumptions for winter tires, they hold well on the curves, both on wet and dry surfaces, there are no situations in which the car would slip at low speeds on difficult surfaces. You can be a bit dissatisfied with the noise result (over 75 mph are quite loud) and t rolling resistance, which affects combustion. In summary, for such money (less than 75 GBP for a set of tires), these are very good tires that work in winter conditions, I would recommend them to people who travel a lot with highways, and roads with a limit of 50 mph as well as people who do not do more than 2000 km in the winter season due to increased combustion. I like aggressive driving style, but I appraciate also comfort. I do not drive sport way in a dash nor make research on tires. I evaluate tyres as an ordinary user. Well, I think that I need a little better sensation from coercion to add a lot to the price of tires. The tires hold well on wet surfaces - however, more than 2x more expensive Dunlop have better performance than Imperial ones. Durability is difficult to assess for me - not enough time for it. With these tires - carefully with the speed in wet turns. Even with the 4-wheel drive (and 270 HP power) can take out of the bend, which on much more expensive tires I managed to easily defeat Read more Collapse

I highly recommend - mainly through the price / quality ratio, which place quite well. I am definately for these Imperials - it should be mentioned here that the only failure so far in my case occurred after hitting a screwdriver that drove me into the tread - tire patched and goes on. From the point of view - the failure did not result from the tire itself, but from a random event ... but it occurred. To sum up - maybe they do not look like they're special, but they are at least 3 times cheaper to external appearance. The parameters according to my opinion look pretty good – these tires will stay at least 2 seasons with me :-). Read more Collapse

I drove with this tyres whole winter, actually the winter wasn’t harsh, but there was a few snowy days and the tyres were doing well. I was surprised, how the tyre kept well on a dry surface, you can really drive quickly without fear of losing control. On wet surface the tires don’t behave very stable, but with normal quiet driving is enough. I do not know how many millimeters of tread it was at the beginning, but measured it before summer change and it was around 6.7mm and I made about 4000 miles, so the consumption can be seen. I recommend to those who have a low budget and want a new tyres as me. Do not overpay !!!! Read more Collapse

I was afraid to buy this tyre brand whose name I did not recognize. But I researched winter tyres, and the Imperial Snowdragon 3 tyres gained my attention. So I bought them in the middle of the winter season, and these tyres perform well on the road, on both wet and snowy surfaces. I took a trip in my car to the mountains and I found these tyres dealt with heavy snow (up to my headlights) very well, with no problems at all. I drove a few times when the roads were icy and again there were no problems. I thoroughly recommend these tyres to anyone who needs to change their tyres in the winter, but is on a budget. I was afraid to buy the Imperial Snowdragon 3 tyres, but after reading the views of users I took a chance. I thought they might be "bad tyres", and perhaps should have bought more “premium-branded” tyres. However, after using them for 5 months, I couldn’t be happier with my tyres - I think they were a great buy. They were work perfectly well in deep snow, and even in the mountains – my cabin had a steep snow-covered driveway! I was reluctant to test them in the mountains, in case anything went wrong. But I felt secure and stable on these tyres – my car rode in the snow like a tank. Read more Collapse

These are my first Imperial (economy class) tyres, but I am very positively surprised by their good performance. I drive mainly in the city - especially in winter, but sometimes I balance on the edge, which allows me to get a review about the tires. I have been braking sharply in the city many times this season and I have never had the ABS system turned on, which could indicate that there is no grip on the winter road. But also when entering into demanding curves, the car has constant contact with the surface. To sum up: the price / quality ratio is very good in this case. Read more Collapse

Since I started use these tires, I have driven over 25,000 and there is a slight tread wear on the front axle (visible about 1.0mm). The tires perform well on both dry and wet surfaces. They behave worse on slush but the ride on snowy roads gives both comfort and good grip. They are quiet even at high speeds and the most important thing for me - economic is great. Fuel consumption practically did not increase. As for me, a revelation. I made the purchase decision, among others, after the opinions of customers from OPONEO - Fast and efficient delivery. Although tire cheap, maybe worth the money, but I would not recommend. In dry conditions is to perform well for the price. In the wet, but a bit like a roller coaster, it's best to stick to everything around. The tire has a very low grip in the wet, and not to mention the stopping distance, you just flows. Snow I had no opportunity to test, but in terms of the mud, it is terribly glues doing so well. Tire terribly strong - perhaps in this class is OK, but for me it's a disaster. Booming mercilessly. in terms of rolling resistance, I am also unhappy because the average consumption of car fuel has increased my 1 liter / 100 km. If someone cares for a price and appearance very low, which in total shall not want, but do not look their safety and other road users, it is safe to buy. I do not buy a second time, because my life is always very pleasant. In this situation, saying that sly 2x loses is justified. Read more Collapse

I bought tires without front tires of this company. I relied on the opinions that I find on the Internet. The surprise is that they are quiet. There is no noise and knocking while driving. well they stick to the road. On a wet or dry excel well. There were few opportunities for walking in snow, but from what I experienced this judge them on average. Well not in corners uślizgują while shifting attention needed.
