Hankook Winter i*cept evo2 SUV W320A is a winter-use tyre engineered for SUVs. It provides a well-balanced performance in hazardous conditions, and delivers high performance, safety and comfort, which are the hallmarks of the Hankook brand.
Hankook Winter i*cept evo2 SUV W320A has significantly improved its starting ability, braking and handling on snowy and wet roads, compared to its predecessor. Hankook engineers have managed to improve the tyre in terms of braking and driving on dry roads as well. It comes with an asymmetrical tread and the inner part shortens braking on snow and water covered-surfaces and the outer tread improves stability and cornering.
Compared to its predecessor, this model has a larger number of blocks, dense sipes for a better bite in snow, and greater tyre stiffness to increase the stability of the vehicle. In addition, the length, thickness and width of the grooves means better traction on wet surfaces.
Hankook Winter i*cept evo2 SUV W320A includes many different grooves on the tyre to assist it in winter conditions. The Criss-cross grooves provide enhanced grip on winter roads, Zigzag groves help with braking, and 3D sipes ensure control and stability on slippery surfaces to prevent skidding. There are tread blocks which are separated by narrow grooves which help to boost the road contact area and help with cornering on snowy or wet roads.
The Hankook Winter i*cept evo2 SUV W320A has a computer-engineered internal structure and tyre is built with a rubber compound with a small amount of silica which enhances the grip on wet roads, and increases the tyre’s robustness. It includes a wide belt to improve handling, and the sidewalls have been stiffened for superior stability.
