The Goodyear EfficientGrip belongs to the Ultra-High Performance range of tyres. The model offers the perfect combination of excellent driving specifications and environmentally-friendly materials, with the tyres being made from a silica compound containing special polymers. The use of this material has reduced rolling resistance, tyre weight and warm-up time, thus allowing for a reduction in fuel consumption.
The asymmetric tread is designed in wide, circumferential grooves, which ensure an optimal driving experience. These grooves are complemented by transverse sipes dispersing water from under the tyre and preventing the risk of aquaplaning.
The optimised tread microstructure improves the wet braking process. The Goodyear EfficientGrip also has a network of multifunctional blades, which maintain stiffness, helping provide steering control and accuracy and driving comfort.
