I have found Goodyear EFFICIENTGRIP thrown in garage with sides cracked a little, dust covered, but out of curiosity, I put them on the front axle. In the dry after little warming, as well as in the wet they are very good, excellent braking on dry tyres generally they stick to the road well. While cornering they tend to slip a bit from time to time, however i dunno if it's due to them being already old or is it sth else. I go to the limit of adhesion and is a drawback I niepasuje in the tyre and I actually made disqualifies = max overload terribly side, I do not know whether to blame the them because they are old with the sides cracked. I do not know what they behaved like when they were new. I think i will give the Goodyear EFFICIENTGRIP a go next time to see how they act. However i will choose a different profile next time. I'll put 195 / 45-16 so the next time issues with cornering. Definitely buy again to make sure what to make of them. Read more Collapse

Mounted Goodyear EFFICIENTGRIP tyres on a Jaguar XF 3.0 D 275cv, 245/45/18. In this version is an excellent tyre for one day highly recommended for those who want comfort and durability with a good grip. However the limit with a powerful car like this you can not get the engine quintessence and the wheels can fail. I had a Pirelli PZero so far. Goodyear are superior in comfort and very far in life and go for 45000 km whereas Pirelli has reached 30,000. But if one day I decide to get to work on the car 275cv Pirelli was slightly better (dry) Goodyear EFFICIENTGRIP on the other hand were superior on wet. If there's a snow they both fail (summer tyre after all). Therefore i strongly recommend the purchase of Goodyear EFFICIENTGRIP if driving regularly. I do not recommend if you enjoy sporty/reckless driving with a powerful engine. Read more Collapse

I got Goodyear EFFICIENTGRIP with my new car Fiat Bravo (it left the factory with them already on). Regarding comfort (adhesion, noise, economy) I do not have any major problems. However, last week, when replacing tyres from winter to summer (beginning of the third season, the current price of these tyres - about 18,000 miles) it was found that the inner edges of the tyres have bulges ( a large, mainly eligible for immediate tyre replacement). In general, pay attention to the quality of surface and fired on uneven surfaces. How is the city traffic - sometimes life forces you to jump curbs. My history of nearly 10 years of operation of the vehicle is the first of these cases. Previously rolled on Firestone, Barum, Dunlop and Pirelli. Read more Collapse

Goodyear EFFICIENTGRIP are very safe tyres on dry pavement as well as wet with a moderate driving style and good suspension of the car with the correct pressure as excellent. It is very quiet tyre, I have had Pirelli P7 previously, which were significantly taller, even winter tyres Michelin Pilot Alpin. I do not know what the life expectancy on them would be since i have had Goodyear EFFICIENTGRIP only for a brief moment now. No signs of wear. It should be noted that, for a proper evaluation of new tyres all conditions need to be met such as wheel alignment correctly adjusted, the correct pressure, good suspension. After installing the new tyre was completely done and the tyres are working very well. Read more Collapse

The Goodyear EfficientGrip belongs to the Ultra-High Performance range of tyres. The model offers the perfect combination of excellent driving specifications and environmentally-friendly materials, with the tyres being made from a silica compound containing special polymers. The use of this material has reduced rolling resistance, tyre weight and warm-up time, thus allowing for a reduction in fuel consumption.

The asymmetric tread is designed in wide, circumferential grooves, which ensure an optimal driving experience. These grooves are complemented by transverse sipes dispersing water from under the tyre and preventing the risk of aquaplaning.

The optimised tread microstructure improves the wet braking process. The Goodyear EfficientGrip also has a network of multifunctional blades, which maintain stiffness, helping provide steering control and accuracy and driving comfort.
