    Opinion from outside IE

After traveling 35,000 kilometers, I have about 4 mm of the tread depth left. They wear out a lot faster than my previous tyres because they are much softer. Maybe that's why they last better on the road, so they influence driving safety. I think for the next season I will have to buy a new set. The rear tyres I changed to winter tyres after making 93,000 kilometers so I still have 2 mm of tread left. So I can see that it's true, Goodyear is a high-end brand but as far as this particular model is concerned, I cannot say that it is impeccable. The tyre has its advantages and disadvantages... Another remark - next time, if I decide to buy the same model, I will certainly choose tyres with a slightly lower speed index, I drive a lot outside the city, I travel long distances, often on motorways; I think that way the tyres will wear slower, which is one of the biggest disadvantages in this model. Tyres ordered for my sister. I am very satisfied with the shop - really express delivery. In addition, we have received accessories for the car. I did not expect much but I am pleasantly surprised by the quality. In addition, the price is really affordable. The price on the website was lower than at my garage. As Oponeo guarantees in the general conditions, the date of manufacture is not that old. The quality is very good, we can see right away that these are the high-end tyres. What is also interesting is the design of the tread. I haven't driven a lot on these tyres yet, but I can already judge that the behavior on dry and wet ground is good. Before, I tested Michelin, Barum, Fulda, Debica and others. The Michelin were the best in terms of balance, there were no tremors on the steering wheel. Very good on dry and wet soil. 1st Michelin, 2nd Goodyear, 3rd Debica, 4th Fulda, Barum, Dunlop. Read more Collapse

Hi, Goodyear Duragrip tyres are excellent, they behave particularly well on wet ground. I bought them encouraged by your comments, and I must admit it was a great choice. After driving the whole season on them, I think I can comment already. I think the biggest advantage is a good water drainage, they are really very good at this. They have good grip on dry roads and also hold the road when cornering really well. Wear and tear - after driving around 15 thousand I did not notice the loss of the tread. I consider them worthy of recommendation. At this price you can not choose better. Previously, I had mounted Michelin Energy but in my opinion the quality of Goodyear Duragrip is comparable. There is not much difference. Yours. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside IE

I would recommend Goodyear Duragrip tyres especially to those who prefer moderate driving. As far as braking is concerned, these tyres do very well in all conditions. They are not as good when it comes to cornering behavior. On dry ground it is still OK, but on wet it is quite dangerous :-) I would like to add that these problems only appear when cornering, otherwise it's good. Another benefit is the durability of the tyres - I have driven about 30 miles on these tyres and I don't see too much wear (I sold them with the car, otherwise I would leave them for myself). They are silent and do not cause high fuel consumption. Overall, considering my sharp cornering driving style - I still would recommend. Read more Collapse

Hi, I bought tyres from Oponeo and I am very satisfied with them - fast delivery and very good quality of service. During this year I made about 13,000km on these tyres and I don't see any signs of excessive wear or other defects or deformation. They behave very well in dry conditions, when it comes to performance on wet ground I see no aquaplanning, their behavior is good too. The tyres are fitted to the Sharan 1.9 TDI 110 hp. I can recommend these tyres because I am sure that in this price range the Goodyear Duragrip are certainly one of the best products. I have already recommended this particular model to my friends and I know they are as satisfied with it as I am. Read more Collapse

Technology description: Goodyear Duragrip utilizes 3D-BIS Technology®. Developed entirely by Goodyear, this innovation allows the tyres to maximize contact with the ground, resulting in significant improvement in driving . In addition, the specially designed tread allows for very fast and efficient drainage of water from under the wheels, reducing the risk of aquaplaning. The asymmetric structure of the tread and stiff shoulder allows flatter cornering . The technology also allows significant reduction in fuel consumption due to a low rolling resistance and an equal distribution of pressure.

About Manufacturer: The founder of the Goodyear Tyre & Rubber Company was Frank Seiberling, who first bought the plant in 1898, with money he borrowed from his brother in law. The company owes its name to the discoverer of vulcanization - Charles Goodyear. Also, at that time, the famous trademark of the brand - winged foot – the logo was created. The logo combines modernity and innovation with its tradition.  Today, Goodyear is the largest typre company in the world . The company operates on six continents. Their tyres are also produced under brands such as Dunlop, Kelly, Fulda, Lee, Sava and Debica.
