Tread:
Falken Azenis FK510 SUV is a medium-class Japanese tyre intended for the summer season. Its greatest asset is the advanced asymmetric tread that can match tyres rated in higher classes.
Falken Azenis FK510 SUV is divided by four deep grooves and numerous smaller and shallower drain grooves. The blade-shaped tread sipes prevent the car from skidding and protect it against aquaplaning. With the enlarged tyre/surface contact area, the model ensures safe and dynamic driving on any surface. An important role is also played by the rubber compound, developed with 4D Nano technology, which allowed for the production of a durable, hard, flexible and economical product which wears out slowly across the entire tread area.
The asymmetric tread gives good grip on any surface. Its external surface is responsible for driving stability on dry surfaces. Moreover, with the use of the rubber compound, the wheels can be driven perfectly, even on very warm roadways. The elastic polymers and silica slow down excessive wear of the tread and wheel adhesion to a hot asphalt. The wheels go smoothly, with low rolling resistance. The internal part of the tread is responsible for driving on wet roads. With the use of the longitudinal grooves, it limits the risk of skidding on water.
