Dębica Presto 225/55 R19 99 V

I put 2 tyres in size 195/50/15 on the front axle. Previously, there were four-year-old Rainsport2s there. On dry surfaces, the current Debicas behave very decently. Sudden braking is not a problem for them. When starting off more dynamically or shifting to second gear, they tend to squeal, but it is not a tragedy. The previous tyres behaved the same, or maybe even a little worse in this respect. On wet surfaces, they behave correctly. Certainly worse than Rainsport2s. When braking, they are generally fine, but it is better to be careful in tight corners. The tyres are quite quiet, both on smooth asphalt and rough. It is difficult to assess the comfort of driving on tyres in size 195/50, but they have a harder sidewall than Rainsport2s. I wrote this review after less than 3 thousand kilometers, so it's hard to say anything about abrasion and how the tyre will behave after 10 or 20 thousand km. I was not convinced about the Debica tyres, however the seller (Oponeo) guaranteed their quality, I do not believe the opinions of the sellers, but surprisingly the seller's information proved to be true in everyday use of the car. I was afraid of faster tyre wear after the previous Debica model (Passio), the quality of which was below criticism. However, the company (Debica) managed to improve on that and the Presto tyre in my opinion has an amazing value for money. The car drives like glued to the road, on wet asphalt a bit less but still within the norm. The biggest surprise was the comfort when driving on potholes (which is extremely tiring in a Golf), the biggest minus is the rolling noise, they are louder than the predecessor but it is not particularly exhausting - at least for me. Very good value for money. The tyre is not inferior to the previously used Yokohama C.Drive. It seems to grip less well on wet surfaces, but maybe that's just a subjective assessment because I tried not to skid for safety reasons. I gave the rolling resistance a rating of 4 because after a longer drive (after warming up) the car does not slide down a small hill, e.g. at traffic lights, as it does on cold tires, although it is difficult for me to say whether this is the tire's fault or, for example, the bearings. I cannot rate the durability, on Yokohamas I did about 50 thousand km, on Dębica Furio 80 thousand and I have not reached the marker yet. On these I did only 15 thousand and they look almost like new. Fuel consumption on the route (road about 95 km/h, highway 140 km/h) 5.8 - 5.9 l/100km, so for my Mazda they're very economical. Everyone advised me against Debica, same goes for opinions on the Internet, but it turned out that 80% of these had never used this tyre. I took a chance and was not disappointed. At a low price I bought tyres and they have already traveled about 4000 km. The tread is still like new, there's no run-out, the tyre is relatively quiet for its price. On dry surfaces it holds well, as well as on the bends. On wet surfaces, a little slippage when starting off happens, so far this tyre has been the best compared to others I have used. I have not had any failures. The air does not escape, it adheres well to the rim. In general, I recommend these tyres, I use them in the city and on the road. Read more Collapse

The tyres started out by covering a distance of 3500 km from Poland to Croatia and back in the summer. They behaved very well on red-hot asphalt. They are characterized by a short braking distance, good grip on bends and an aesthetically pleasing, modern look. The rubber of the tire looks fresh after covering 35,000 km and still looks new. I recommend this tyre model. Of course, I bought it, among other things, because of its low price because I drive a vehicle worth about PLN 7,000. Therefore, buying a set of summer tyres cost me 11% of the entire value of my vehicle. I do not recommend these tyres for users of more expensive and modern vehicles. Read more Collapse
