VanContact A/S is a very good premium choice for light to medium commercial vehicles, trucks and pickups. The manufacturer states at least several advantages of its product. These are:
High durability.
Universality - this is a model for driving on both dry, and snow-covered roads.
Better wet braking and reduction of aquaplaning.
Economics - the tyre has reduced rolling resistance, which translates into lower fuel bills.
These features of the model are due to the excellent compund from which it is made and the special construction. Three longitudinal grooves are designed to drain water. They work perfectly even during heavy rainfall. They play the same role in winter - only then they remove the slush. This is facilitated by the stepped design of the grooves.
But VanContact A/S is a universal tyre. It does well not only in rain and snow, but also on dry surfaces.
Continental is currently the largest tyre manufacturer in Germany and the fourth largest in the world. Already in 1904 the company produced the first car tyre with a tread. It was a revolution - these tyres perform much better on wet roads and make it easier to set off and also to brake. Continental owns the result, recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. The series-produced ContiSportContact Vmax tyres, fitted in a Porsche 911 GT 9, have proven themselves during a run on a track in Nardo, Italy, reaching speeds of 409 km/h.
