“Safe and environmentally friendly” – in these words the manufacturer describes its product: Continental ContiEcoContact 5. The tyre will delight all drivers who, apart from maximum performance, appreciate low fuel consumption and durability. Continental ContiEcoContact 5 offers extremely low rolling resistance which, besides cost-efficiency, makes the drive more ecological with less C02being expelled into the air. When developing the tyre, the manufacturer created a special structure that helped to considerably reduce the braking distance both on dry and wet surfaces. Rolling resistance is limited due to the unique composition of the compound used to produce Continental ContiEcoContact 5. In laboratory tests, the manufacturer obtained new polymer chains that strongly bind the silica in the tyre, which improves the wet grip.
The tyre features an asymmetric tread that consists of two independent sections, each being responsible for different types of performance. With this, the driving is safe regardless of the road and weather conditions. Continental ContiEcoContact 5 also provides silence and comfort. With a high-tech rubber compound the designers have significantly reduced the level of noise generated by the tyre. Additionally, the model has an extended durability and the tread wears out evenly. This ensures not only improved safety during use but also allows you to maintain full driving parameters throughout the life of the tyre.
