Vredestein Sportrac 5

It is my second set of tires from Vredestein company (previous Hi-Track 2). I'm not a boy racer, but I cannot call myself very calm driver either. In general I am happy with brand and tire performance, good on wet (Ireland ;-) ), never let me down, fast cornering is not a problem too (talking about driving with faster peace - not racing). Between Hi-Track 2 and current ones got set of "Bridgestone Turanza ER300" - have seen no difference in performance whatsoever, and they got worn twice faster than Hi-Track 2 - that's why came back to Vredestein brand. I was short on money when I was buying the tyres which is why I didn't chose Continental ContiSportContact which I was initially planning. Last ones I drove were ContiPremiumContact 2. The Vredestein seem to have better grip, especially on curves, where I like to take the car to the limits - especially in the small curvy roads of west Ireland. The previous ones were really good, so I wasn't expecting that Vredestain would be better, but they were. Unfortunately they're significantly louder. I have covered almost 10,000km on these, mostly motorway/good quality roads and they have performed quite well all round. They are good in dry and wet, and on frosty/light ice covered roads. They are excellent value for money considering many brands are twice the price. Read more Collapse
