Semperit MASTER - GRIP 2 is a winter tyre from our economy-price range which has been optimized for typical Central European winters.
Semperit MASTER - GRIP 2 includes a general tread pattern which is functional on all surfaces. Grip and traction during rain and snow are good and the modern rubber composite ensures full functionality even at low temperatures. The tyre includes frost-resistant properties which help it overcome frost-covered roads.
Semperit MASTER - GRIP 2 reduces low-rolling resistance in its design, and the tyre erodes less over time. Less fuel is used, and less carbon emissions are produced, which is a real plus. Furthermore, its wet performance is enhanced by 5% compared to the original edition of this tyre.
Semperit MASTER - GRIP 2 is designed to give precise handling and control by having dynamically-shaped rib blocks. At high speeds, the tyre is able to deliver good traction. The tyre uses an advanced directional tread pattern, which uses a necessary combination of bricks and a special groove system to ensure effective drainage on icy or wet roads. Sharp-edged blocks also enhance the traction on slippery and icy roads, and the tread has a dampening effect to reduce unwanted tyre noise.
Semperit MASTER - GRIP 2 uses a dense network of sipes to ensure the tyre literally “bites” into the road surface. This protects against skidding, and braking distances are shortened on winter roads. The handling is precise and the wheel is kept on the correct path even when cornering or performing sudden manoeuvres.
