Scale of scores: Highest lowest

A sporty performance and safety on any surface are the main features offered by the Nankang NS 20. It has been designed for drivers who favour a dynamic and uncompromising driving experience. The unique compound used in its construction gives the tyre excellent grip, steering precision and good traction on any road conditions. The compound used is durable and lightweight, which reduces rolling resistance, resulting in lower fuel consumption, which is something that all drivers can appreciate. The tyre is resistant to rapid tread wear and mechanical damage. Thanks to its balanced distribution of pressure on the road surface, the model wears slowly and offers its full performance specifications for its entire lifetime.

The Nankang NS 20 comes with a directional tread pattern, which performs exceptionally well on wet surfaces. The V-shaped grooves quickly disperse water and reduce the risk of aquaplaning. This means that drivers can enjoy a fast and sporty style of driving, even in poor weather conditions. The blades situated on the tyre shoulders guarantee increased driving stability and better control over the vehicle during manoeuvres such as lane changes or quick start-ups. The Nankang NS 20 also offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience. The use of a state-of-the-art compound and its innovative tread pattern significantly reduce tyre noise, making even everyday driving a real pleasure.

I have this tyre model fitted from some time now and I have to admit that I am pretty satisfied. Even when the tread is quite worn tyre can do the job. The carcass does not give any sign of abating. Until now they have performed very well in both wet and dry surface, nothing to complain. It must be admitted that now it is hard to expect the same quality and performance level but remember that I have done some decent mileage already. Nankang N20 works very well in all circumstances and do not get worn out easily which is important. I would say that they are pretty quiet but not ideal. I would certainly recommend these tyres to all those who do not want to spend a fortune and you do not have to make the car racing. The calm drivers like me can buy them and will not be disappointed. Judgement: Very good tyres at good value price. Read more Collapse

The View on the tyres made in China vary greatly. Some users are satisfied, some does not recommend these tyres. I decided to take my chances and buy the very asian product. To my suprise Nankang NS 20 tyres are doing more than fine. They got good grip on dry and wet. They aren't noisy which in my opinion is important to any driver. Rate a which the tread wears is ok. I was driving in different conditions and they didn't fail me. Wide range of different sizes (even those hard to come by), good tread technology (like water draining). I can honestly recommend these tyres for their price and their quality. So far i've bought 2 sets of Nankang tyres and will probably get more of NS 20 in the future (unless a newer model will come out by that time) Read more Collapse

Although I did not drive much on these tyres, the driving experience is not comparable to the previous tyres I have had, and they were Falken. The car drives great, no disturbance, the tyres are quiet and comfortable, just great, there were no problems with putting on and balancing them, I am delighted, I read the reviews before buying and nothing is exaggerated in the fact that people praise them so much, I know I approached it with a pinch of salt, at least I was not disappointed with them, on the contrary, I am positively surprised, great for the price and the fact that they are Chinese. I drive a Nissan Primera P12, it is probably not the worst car, it completely changed its face after putting on these nankangs. Read more Collapse

I need to say that I am really surprised by Nankang N20. I was pretty sure that it will be not the best choice as it is not European company but after some time I found out that I was completely wrong. I was surprised more and more after every mile done. I could not really believe that this kind of tyre can be so good so I made some tests by my own. Speed driving, instant braking and this kind of situations. Of course it is not ideal but seems to be better that other budget class competitors. I think that it would be hard to find better tyre for similar price. This Nankang model is quite hard which is fine for me, rather advantage than a flaw. It provides good traction and safety. Recommended. Read more Collapse

    1. Nankan NS 20 tyre shows very low pulsation rate, max 15g of weight used on used 16 inch wheel, which is a better result than more expensive competition could hope for. 2. The tyre look well manufactured. 3 After driving 4.5k miles the tyre behave well on dry and ok on wet. Although most of the mileage was made driving in the city. Not particulary loud. No difference in fuel consumption. Compound is harder than in case of top notch tyres but that doesn't mean anything bad. I'm an owner of a tyre service and i can definately recommend Nankang NS 20 for all those looking for cheap tyres who don't have sporty cars. And especially for those who drive mostly around the city. Read more Collapse

I bought these tyres on a recommendation from a friend and they didn't disappoint! I'v always used brand name tyres so this was my first unknown brand. They are very good on wet and dry roads, and also very reassuring through the bends. I have also noticed how much better wear you get from them, Iv done around 3000 miles with them and they still have loads of life left, but as with 'premium' brands I would probably be thinking of changing them by now. The only thing I could fault them on is a slight increase in road noise but this is very negleable. I will be recommending these tyres to friends and family and will also be using them again myself. Tyres for "normally" used cars. For those who appreciate driving comfort. I like the quiet tyres that ensure safe driving and these are the features of this model from Nankang. I hesitated for a long time before making this purchase. I spoke with many garages. I was not very convinced by the quality of a Chinese product. Frankly I have never had a tyre from this range. I encountered extremely different opinions. I decided to take the risk after reading the ADAC test results. I quickly realised that my fears were in vain. On my other cars I have Primacy and P7 and I don't see any difference. Read more Collapse

I bought Nankang N20 for a summer season after a long research and wondering if should I rather buy new budget class tyres or second hand top level ones. It is quite hard to buy some used tyres in good condition so I finally decided to purchase the mentioned Nankang model. Very decent price, good braking, fuel efficiency has not increased, driving comfort is great for me. Really nice surprise. Safety, the most important part of the every tyre, is provided by this Nankang model. Comfortable driving as well. Recommended. Read more Collapse

I would not have decided to buy summer tyres at the end of the season had it not been for a puncture (michelin primacy) and as the tread was already worn down, my vulcaniser recommended replacing them with new ones. I bought these nankangs because I did not want to spend a lot - I still have to buy winter tyres. I'm satisfied though, they will definitely last a few seasons, so far they work great - there is a big difference in price between brand name tyres and new ones, even cheap ones. Read more Collapse

Well, I have used many different tyres. I had some chinese models, some premium and middle class tyres and I feel just safer on Nankang N20 though. They provide a good support for a driver. It is hard to lose the control of the vehicle. It is possible to drive on the wet and drive road almost the same. Noise is on the acceptable level, it is almost not hearable. I have not spotted any major difference if it comes to a fuel efficiency. Great value to the price and I can recommend them. Read more Collapse

When purchasing Nankang NS 20 i had both it's price and other users' opinions on my mind. The tyres do very well on both dry and wet road. They are rather quiet, easily handled on curves and rather comfortable when driving on bumps. I wonder how long it's gonna be this way and if they act worse when tread will be running out. Anyway when it comes to my driving style (generaly calm with occasional lead foot) these tyres are really great. Regards Read more Collapse

Well, I am not perfectly satisfied but I need to say that it is a good tyre for a budget class product. My not the best impression comes from the fact that I always used the top level product but I had to order and fit some cheaper ones this time. So, of course I can not expect to have exactly or at least simillar quality tyre as the premium class but still it is worth the money. Nankang N20 - recommended for anyone who do not expect too much. Before buying Nankang tyres, I was mainly guided by the price and the feedback from users. So I bought the tyres, and as long as I drove mainly on local roads I was fine, but the problem started when I entered the motorway. The car started to vibrate when I exceeded 100 km/h. I decided to re-balance the wheels, but that did not help, the tyre cannot be balanced! I regret this purchase and will never be tempted by a low price. Read more Collapse

I am slightly shocked. I read the opinions about these tyres before I decided on them. They convinced me to buy these tyres and I do not feel disappointed at all. It could be better in the wet, but in the dry I am soooo happy. I put them on as early as January and I got to drive in the snow, so I can say that the new summer Nankangs were better than several-year-old branded winter tyres. I definitely recommend it! Fitted on a Peugeot 407, the tyres have proved their worth in every respect and have really surprised me with their low noise levels. Excellent handling on all surfaces. Nankang N20 is a good tyre. I can not say that they are perfect but there is nothing which could be the reason to not use them if you do not have some special needs and expectations. I've had a few tyres run out on my car. All I can say about these is that they stick beautifully in corners. They are surprisingly good in the wet too. The garage was shocked at how nicely the rims balanced with them. All 4. Generally good tyres, just wear quickly.... especially the ones on the back hehehe, and they smoke nicely :D The car runs on them like after a fresh alignment. Best regards Read more Collapse

I'd recommend Nankang NS 20 to enyone. 205/35R18 look great especially when fitted tuned up cars. They stick to the road wether it's dry or wet like if glued to the asphalt. No point in telling anything about noise supression since everyone who was driving on low profile tyres knows how it is. You can feel every pebble. I've just covered 5000 km and I have to say that, even though they are Chinese, they seem to perform very well. I don't have a wet weather rating because, being my second car, when it rains it doesn't leave the garage. I have to say that the tyres are a bit noisy, but with wide and low profile tyres like 255-35 R20 at the front and 285-30 R20 at the rear, you can't expect much rolling silence. Read more Collapse

One of the best budget tyre i had to deal with, im running 215 on 9,5j wheels with no issues 3 degree camber. They seem to last longer than any other tyre i had with this camber on, plenty of meat left and done about 10,000 kms. I bought Chinese or Taiwanese tyres for the first time and approached the purchase with some uncertainty, but the quality of the tyre and the positive driving experience surprised me. So far, I have driven 10 000 km on them, I have passed a trip to the Polish seaside, to Croatia, there are no signs of wear and no disturbing noises or behaviour of the car, and I drive a VOLVO S60. My brother recommended these tyres to me, previously I was afraid of buying tyres from such little-known manufacturers. Now I know that it is better to buy new nankangs than second-hand tyres from ebay (often with defects), which are more expensive or worn to the max. I put them on my BMW 1 and have no reason to complain, I drove a few months and then changed to winter tyres. Read more Collapse

In a rear drive car on a dry road I perform very well, on a wet road I have no complaints either. The front is 225/35r19 and the rear is 255/30r19, with such a low profile it's hard to judge noise as any tyre will be noisy, but my impression is that they are a little noisier than previous bridgestone. I bought because Chinese origin does not mean cheap, I recommend this tyre. Read more Collapse

I use a lot of budget tyres between 35-70 GBP per tyre. Nankang NS 20 is truly the best of them all in every way. They are better than Nexens. Ovation can be noted as comperable within this prace range. The best thing about Nankang in that it has a very good grip. Excellent control on roundabouts even wwith a good deal of speed. I honestly recommend this tyre. Read more Collapse

Grip in the dry is ok, but if you like to go faster, buy something from the higher end. You have to be careful in the wet, because Nankangs (in general, not only these ones) lose grip quickly in such conditions. Quiet and durable tyres. Good durability and low price are the main advantages of this tyre. No problems with balancing (very few weights). Read more Collapse

The tyre looks and feels great on wet and dry tarmac. I recommend contacting oponeo.pl for advice before purchasing. Tyre looks nice, balances well. Dry grip very good, expected a little better in the wet. With a rear-wheel drive car it becomes quite dangerous. It is also a pity that the tyre does not have a protective rim, you have to be very careful not to let anything rub or bounce on the rim. For a budget tyre in this price range, I can fully recommend them. Read more Collapse

For this amount of money, it is a good choice for rather quiet city driving. Despite the 225/40/18 size, the ride is comfortable (quite soft), but the TC in the car can switch on during more aggressive driving, even in 3rd gear in a 170HP petrol. I'd advise against driving in the rain, they slip terribly when taking a sharp bend or turn. Read more Collapse
