Optimal performance, excellent grip and a stable driving experience in any situation are the main attributes of the Michelin PRIMACY 3. The tyre is noted for its innovative construction, specially designed to handle difficult weather and road conditions. Its asymmetric tread pattern means that it disperses water very quickly, preventing the car from skidding. Wide grooves help disperse water to the sides, which means that the liquid layers are removed from under the tyre, ensuring that it maintains its grip.

The model has been designed from an innovative compound noted for its lightness and durability. The light compound reduces rolling resistance, resulting in lower fuel consumption - in the space of a year this can mean big savings for the driver. Reduced fuel consumption also results in lower CO2 emissions, which helps limit the tyre's negative impact on the environment.

michelin-primacy-bok

The model is particularly well suited to drivers looking for optimal performance in any weather and in any conditions. The Michelin PRIMACY 3 ensures a quiet and comfortable driving experience. Thanks to the model's construction, tyre noise is instantly muffled. Optimal performance, shorter braking distances and excellent steerability are all features that mean that the Michelin PRIMACY 3 has gained the recognition of even the most demanding drivers.

Michelin

Michelin is a French company and one of the largest tyre groups in the world. The company was founded in 1889 in Clermont-Ferrand, where it has its headquarters to this day. Michelin specialises in the production of premium tyres noted for their optimal performance and excellent manufacturing quality. The French group owns brands such as: Kleber, Riken, BFGoodrich, Kormoran, Taurus, Saimtyre, Warrior, Tigar, Recamic and Euromaster. Thanks to its logo - Bibendum or the Michelin Man - Michelin is the most recognisable tyre brand in the world.

    Opinion from outside IE

I have this Michelin Primacy 3 tyres from eight months now on my car which is Volvo S60. I purchased them after the advice from seller and I have to say that was a good choice. Tyres performs really good on the wet surface and this is the thing which I like the most about them. I can feel simply safe on the road. After this few months they are still in good condition and I think that it will be possible to use them for some longer time. Second major advantage is that fast driving on Michelin is possible without the risk that driver will lose control becouse of the tyres. Traction is perfect. I bought tyres from this brand first time and surely not the last one. Read more Collapse

I used to have on my Ford Mondeo previous model of Michelin Primacy 3 which was Primacy HP. I sold this car with same original tyre set, never changed them becouse everything was fine at all. For my next car I requested Michelin tyres once again and this is Primacy 3. I drove on them over 55000 miles and I don't really understand all these negative opinions about durability. I think it is individual drivers fault that tyre is worn off to fast. All parameters are on top level and that is one of the reasons why I consider this brand as a excellent one. Highly recommended! Opinion from outside IE

First of all, I often go on tour in Poland. New tyres purchased in April - a set of 4 Michelin Primacy 3 215/50 R17 XL 95WTL. The car: Peugeot 5008 2.0HDI. After a journey of 13 thousand miles in October they can be thrown in the trash. The tyre of this class in my opinion should resist minimum for 25 to 30 thousand miles. Certainly no more of these tyres. In dry conditions braking is perfect, on the wet or muddy road - fatal. Fast driving style, but without aggressiveness, no unnecessary braking and rather with the engine. Read more Collapse

Tyres chosen after the conversation with the consultant over the phone. I was thinking about few models and main things for me were label and price. I asked to compare all of them and advice me what should I choose for myself. Finally I decided to purchase Michalin Primacy 3. I'm very satisfied. I fell confident when driving on them and it is not important if it's rainy weather or not. Safety is major and Michelin provides it. No problems in the garage with fitting. Not to noisy. Worth the price for sure. Read more Collapse

I don't know why people say some negative opinions about Michelin tyres sometimes. I had different model from them previously which was Energy Saver and probably I would have them much longer but my car was broken and I had to change both, vehicle and tyres. I ordered Michelin Primacy 3 this time and do not regret at all. Excellent product. It was quite rainy today so I decided to test them - no problems. I'm realy satisfied. My next tyre set will be from Michelin as well for sure. They are the best! Read more Collapse

I don't make any opinin about appearance because it is not important for me at all. What I consider as important things when it comes to the tyres is safety. Michelin Primacy 3 model is great for both on dry and wet roads. I used to have different top quality tyre models previusly but I didn't feel really enthusiastic about any of them. Michelin is the first one which is impressive for me. I never used this brand before so I made an experiment and it was a perfect decision. Read more Collapse

I learned a long time ago that cheap things are for the poor, so I think it's worth sometimes denying and give a little more to appreciate the product that lasts longer and we'll be happy with it, at the times in terms of comfort, safety and appearance, because the tyre is really nice, and that is, after also having an important element in everything - they're nice, clean, but draws attention. This is a great tyre from a performance view. Good on wet and dry conditions. Very low noise levels and a noticeably smoother ride in comparison to RFT tyres. However I was disappointed on the milage return and after 12000 miles my rear tyres are almost at the legal limit. I was expecting a better milage return having read previous reviews on this site. Compared with original Bridgestons, surprising reliable grip especially on wet asphalt, they are quieter and softer, the inequality of choice more comfortable. When driving fast they are predictable, not "reminder" of its existence and not "to protest" acute treatment. With the current course of about 9000 miles there is not much wear, lack of dentition, etc. Recommendable tyre. Read more Collapse

I traveled around 2000 miles on these tyres. So far, no wear is visible. In the rear seats you can hear the tyres in the car, but it can be the result of insufficient soundproofing of the car. They behave properly on dry and wet surfaces with peaceful driving. I'm happy with the tyres. I recommend them, although I traveled just a few miles on these tyres. Read more Collapse

I had some good seasons on these tyres. I made 90,000 miles on them, and the tread is disappearing now. I need to replace them because of the rubber's state, it'll serve me one more season. For wet and dry, without comment as I do not know what's wrong with my ABS, looks like I don'tt have it in the car ;). Very resistant tyre, worth the money. Read more Collapse

Over the years, I was attached to Dunlop and Goodyear and once I bought Bridgestone but Michelin is out of their reach, it's unbeatable. Dunlop's after 3 years became so noisy as the V8 engine without soundproof. For Michelin - more comfort, silence, they hold the road like glue. I could have afforded a bit of luxury earlier.
