I bought this summer tyre in the size 235/40R18 for Ford Mondeo MK4 and honestly I am very pleasantly surprised by these tyres although I have them just few days: the advantages: very quiet tyre (I previously had Uniroyal and Continental tyres in this size) and I'm 100% convinced that they are much quieter - no noise and rolling resistance definitely very good! I definitely recommend this new product! I checked on wet roads and the tyre is very good at speed of 85 mph, I did not check the higher speeds. It's a revelation on dry roads! Tyres worth the price, durable, have a rim protector that prevents the rim from damage eg against rubbing the curb, excellent grip - during emergency braking they quickly lose speed, neither squeeze, nor have the slightest slip under the brake pedal (you do not feel the pulsing of the pedal - ABS - it copes with decreasing speed, you may fell them only with sudden braking during heavy rainfall). You can quickly overcome the roundabout without fear that the car will lose its grip or enter the curve/turn (of course within common sense :-)) Looks great fitted on alloy wheels, width on 8". A budget brand compared to hankook - I like new products, so I decided on buying them. The tyre is competitive to the leading brands. Zero problems with balancing. The car perfectly grips to the road, on sharp corners or larger roundabouts, the tyres didn't even squeak for a moment, there is no break of grip as well. They drain off water very well and at the same time are extremely quiet. Once fitted to the car, I feel less resistance while driving. Silent tyres, good driving in both dry and rainy weather, braking distance also satisfactory. It does not pull the car aside on turns at higher speeds. After covering 10,000 miles no signs of wear is visible. In general, I highly recommend these tyres because I do not see the difference between laufenn and e.g dunlops, which I use in the second car, apart from the price difference, of course :-) Read more Collapse

I am very pleased with the purchase of these tyres. Driving properties very good on both dry and wet surfaces. Quiet with low rolling resistance. As far as durability is concerned, I cannot write too much as the distance driven so far is too small but it looks promising. Perfect tyres for the price. Overall I would recommend. Quiet, durable, suppress unevenness well, very good behavior on wet, in previous cars I had premium brands: Michelin and Continental, and for me Laufenn does not differ from them in terms of performance, and even beats them in one of the very important parameters - THE PRICE!!! Although the tyres are cheap, they do the job. They perform very well on dry pavement as well as in the wet.You can hear them a little when driving faster, but this is still a minor thing compared to the previous ones I have had I would recommend these tyres to anyone who can have good quality tyres at a small cost. I have had the opportunity to drive on these tyres on different surfaces, at different speeds, and I have not noticed any problems. I must add that the tyres behave very well when driving on kerbs. The tyres perform very well on the road in both dry and wet conditions. Regarding noise, the tyres can be heard at higher speeds, but this is not disruptive. The price is OK for me. I can definitely recommend these tyres. Read more Collapse
