Falken e.ZIEX is the first electric car tyre in the manufacturer's portfolio with a falcon in its name. It is designed for summer use and - characteristic of the medium segment - offers very good performance at an affordable price. Its properties are confirmed by the EU label.
Ideal for electric cars
An area of focus for the designers of this model is the lowest possible rolling resistance. It is set to be one of the most energy-efficient offerings not only in the brand's catalogue, but also in the entire company to which it belongs. This parameter is very important for electric vehicles, as it translates into an extension of their range. The lower the rolling resistance, the lower the energy intake on the road. Coupled with this are the reduced maintenance costs of the car.
However, this is not the only strong point of the Falken e.ZIEX. The tyres are also distinguished by their quiet running. Contributing to this is Silent Core technology, which incorporates polyurethane foam inside the tyre to absorb vibrations. This is complemented by the clever arrangement of the tread grooves. As a result, even during dynamic driving, virtually no comfort-degrading noise penetrates the cabin. The driver can enjoy driving the car without interruption.
Secure driving throughout the season
The aforementioned tread is key to the tyre's excellent performance, improving the safety of the travellers. It has been developed using state-of-the-art Advanced 4D Nano Design technology. The forces acting on it are evenly distributed, which, on the one hand, improves traction and, on the other, prevents the rubber from wearing down too quickly.
A very good grip on dry roads allows you to cover miles quickly and contributes to the car's stability when cornering. You can also count on the support of the e.ZIEX model on wet surfaces. The wide circumferential grooves and the accompanying notches ensure that water is efficiently channelled away from under the wheels and that the wheels do not lose their grip on the asphalt. In this way, the risk of car skidding decreases.
Falken is a brand owned by Japan's Sumitomo Rubber Group. Known for its association with motorsport, it should come as no surprise that the manufacturer's tyres are winning the hearts of fast-driving enthusiasts with particularly high expectations. Over the years, it has been possible to observe how the company not only follows trends in the automotive world but also creates them itself.
