Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 are the test winner. For family cars, drivers who want to have the best tyre performance from the moment they leave the garage, this is the most secure tyre on the dry and wet. Compared to other summer it is harder to break the grip. On wet and water I cannot imagine better. I also checked in longer routes, across Europe. As I measured side-by-side with my tyre size (balloon) very weak, the same with the tyre control at the dynamic (as you want sharp on small streets, strong arches) ride no-poor - so say politically. There are summer tyres that will not "win" because they will be worse on the water, less safe, but after "warming up" on the route, as a typical summer, may be a better option for motorists with high power cars and riding with sporty fierce. I tolerate some of the worse properties on the bends, the mega-atomic safety for my family "from the start". Oh, one more thing - it really cushions Polish holes - buying tyres for compact cars - as you sift into the car for class higher (that of course with a grain of salt - but important for me). I would recommend. Aha, I’m not sure I’m a Sunday driver - I’m driving roughly around town - maybe this opinion about lateral grip Read more Collapse

My car has an special off-road package that makes the body move much more unpleasant vibrations and vibrations even on theoretically level ground. Because it irritated me first, I threw out the factory tyres, and then I tried two sets of other tyres like the leading manufacturers, unfortunately with a very poor result. It was only (as I counted and I was not disappointed at all) after the ContiPremium establishment, practically all irritating convulsions and vibrations gave up. Moreover, the specific "rattling of wheels" on uneven and "rough" surfaces has also disappeared (old asphalt, gravel, etc.). Tyres are very confident on the winding roads, both dry and wet (I live quite high in the mountains and on this basis I judge). I know my quote is whispered by marketing, but I can not help but think that Conti is just that - close to ideal in most areas compared. In conclusion, I will add that the market certainly offers other equally successful tyres, but I do not intend to re-balance the open door. I am currently running a war with the characteristic convulsions of the AUDI A6, but after some unsuccessful attempts I already know that until I put up the proven Continental I will not achieve the desired effects. Tyres would be great because they: keep up the road, they suppress the potholes, they are soft and comfortable. Braking on the dry road - lovely: Never on any tyres, I did not feel so confident with the harsh braking as on the Continental. On the wet also without much reservations. The look I do not judge, although there are certainly "nicer" tyres, for me it does not matter. But unfortunately, for me, these tyres are definitely too loud, the unpleasant sound appears from about 50 km / h, and the most annoying is about 80-90 km / h, which is really the speed with which most often go (Or at least should :). Of course, you have to give the manufacturer that he placed a 72 db label on it, but I still feel that there are more realities in the Yokohama with such a loudness level and better. Surely not all this noise will be disturbed, I am very sensitive to it, to this Avensis has less than medium-sounded body. But the fact that the Michelin Primacy 3 was much quieter, though traction is not quite that. To sum it up: a sensational tire for people who do not attach much importance to rolling noise or when they attach: they have a great sound fury or dazzling audio sets. Read more Collapse

I see that the opinion applies specifically ContiPremiumContact 5 195 / 65R15 91H manufactured in Portugal !!! According to this site from this information, the production date is February 2014. I bought these tires in March 2014. It is, for example, November and end tires. Fact - I was driving about 30,000 kilometres. Is it normal that after this course, I am entitled to wear badges? The tires are not suited for next season! Twice I checked the geometry of the car, because I do not think you can just use the tire in such a short time. Twice I was in the fitter to be thrown on the balancer and see if they are worn evenly. In both cases, everything was OK. Fitter said these tyres now being manufactured in different permanent. Maybe for someone who makes 10 thousand. miles per year (half of winter tyres) is acceptable - a vehicle for them probably 5 years and will be enjoyed with quality. For me, there is definitely something wrong with them. Maybe at some point highlighted by the Portuguese with something general in the mix recipe and start off complaints rubber. Now it is probably too early - it was only six months since their production! Could do better. Read more Collapse

Tyres offer a very good grip on the BMW E46 when starting a "boot & quot; complete 350 nm and 160 horsepower, even in the rain tyres do not slip, and the car is virtually the same as the time of 0-100 to dry. The only drawback is the poor performance of the tyres while rapid changes of the track in the traffic, as car begins to swing. In previous Pirelli P6 it was easier to lose grip, but I controlled myself and it didn't swing the car like that. These do not lose traction, but I go as I had air. Overall tyre offers good traction just do not understand why the manufacturer puts it on a soft side, which in my opinion does not make use of the possibilities for these tyres. Recommend but in normal driving, I roll with the use of 100% of the engine capacity and suspension and should not have to buy something low profiled. I'll add that on the BMW I mentioned these are two months, all at the rear and I have new shocks m-front suspension package and springs and kit Eibach Pro. plus positioning the geometry, just saying so that no one thinks I don't know what I'm saying and looking for blame in the tyres for the bad behavior of the vehicle. Tyres I bought after a long search. I have reviewed a lot of user reviews and reviews. Finally I chose Continental and I was not disappointed. Tyres on dry surfaces work great. My Avensis just floats, glued to the asphalt. They show no tendency to slip or lack of stability in turns, even at high speeds. They are quiet and comfortable. It's the same on the wet road: driving cars I have the impression that these tyres were designed to drive in the rain. They drain the water perfectly, when accidentally entering even a large pool, the car does not become nervous. As for braking on a dry and wet road, I can not fault them: several times I have crashed dry and wet brakes, but once again tires have done well. I drove over 50 thousand of them. Km on the road and the city (I drive quite dynamically) and do not see any special wear. For anyone who values comfort, reliability and above all safety when driving, I strongly recommend the Continental ContiPremiumContact 5. When it comes time to replace the summer tyres, I will not hesitate to choose them up again. Read more Collapse

Very nice tyres. But I feel that their assessment is a little overrated. These are really good tyres, but expensive. From my experience, I know you can buy something better a little cheaper, but unfortunately for the mark and the inscription on the tyre I have to pay (which you can see on this example perfectly). In the dry, I have nothing to reproach - perfectly fulfills its purpose. Creepy brisk braking or quick start. Great guard. On wet it's already a little worse, but still very good. These are not excessively strong. So, what I do not like? I've finished them terribly fast. Before assembling NOTE: 6200 miles. I drive aggressively, but never no tiring, I drive as fast as I can. Imbalance Inequalities: When the tyre is new, it's tolerable. But when the tread is less than a half it’s better. Unfortunately, It doesn’t suppresses me at all. I can not recommend it for aggressive driving. Would I buy it again? Certainly not. Moving on to a cheaper tyre, less well known company and I will be very happy. Read more Collapse

I do not have anything serious to complain about, as you can see, my car is not a high performance, but tighter turns at higher speeds feel lateral skid, it is also heard. The tyre pressure checked and correct the geometry so nothing bad happens. I check this effect twice a week, because I lead a cyclical journey on a path that is always the same. This is basically a 90 degree radius on a stretch of 30 meters. It is difficult to determine it visually, because the road crosses the forest. Asphalt in this location is in perfect condition. Before the turn, it writes clearly 25mph, my psyche allows me to overcome this turn at 43mph, and you will hear only slight tyre squealing. I've tried 56 mph many times, while I'm almost cringing and ESP is in action. Once, I dared to devour myself. The tyre lost its grip at 66 mph, it began to clearly lose traction on the side and I sweated a bit because more than half the car had to go outside. A very painful way and certainly not "funny" Read more Collapse

I bought the tyres in the spring 2015, the year of manufacture 2015 as well, so far I have covered about 4600 miles, the consumption is practically not visible. The tyre on the road behaves very predictably. Car keeps very well on dry asphalt, on wet even better. Yaris is a light and very understeering car. Even with very tight and demanding corners, tyres stick to the road as glued to the asphalt. The same on wet, wet and even rain-watered asphalt. I had no problems with grip on these tyres. As I changed tyres for the summer quite early, I had the adventure that wet snow fell in the mountains. And, surprisingly, even under such conditions (1 inch of slush) the tyre was perfectly fine. And now a bit from a different topic, the combustion increased by 0.2l (from 5.2 to 5.4), the noise is moderate, yaris is poorly silenced so if you listen carefully, you can hear the music played by Continentals. But this is the melody of grip! Highly recommend Read more Collapse

I bought these tyres as they are the winner of the test, especially as the best tyre for the Polish masters of water and ruts with water. I went to Poland and Europe on them. There are so many middle class drivers, and most often to get to work, you need a tyre that's perfect. I recommend it for use in a city where you barely move, and you do not drive a sports car 95 mph. Poor control and side support are a minus, but otherwise just the best tyre for normal drivers with the family. If someone needs to go crazy and go into corners, let them go to see other tyres. Attitude in this dimension leaves much to be desired when it comes to lateral support. Tyres designed for this are likely to have less good water performance, but are better in typical summer tyres for luxury cars. Similar to my old Michelin. The tyre moves very, very comfortably, it levels the feeling of driving through holes, which is important. Read more Collapse

I drive mainly in the city: the hole, even surfaces, tracks, CDs, etc. The fact is that this is nothing special, even on the highway at high speeds. Brandishing big. But I was lucky to go when it was summer downpour. On the road there was literally a river and I had absolutely no problem with driving. Even with fast traction wheels spin. I was very shocked (my first tyres bought as new) so that the tyre can fit on the road like that. Previously, I had Pirelli P6000 and on wet roads these were very poor. Unfortunately, even though it was on the road, I was entering into a puddles - I had a firm grip on the steering wheel, many exempted cars. Whit Continental I do not have this problem. Even with the holes on the edges of the road, the car goes very well in the puddles, and the steering wheel does not exonerate any jumps. Very good tyres. Read more Collapse

I bought the tyres at a very good price at the end of the summer season. Right after winter, lower class tyres are sold at a higher price. Previous tyres I had from the same manufacturer but I founded it as used - I thought it is tread over 6 mm it's almost a short cut to it since the date of production has passed just four years ago so it's definitely worth it. However, the tread and the date of production are not all - auto garages under the block so all the time changing weather conditions and rubber loses its properties and becomes hard. After replacing the tyres with new ones after the first tour, I was impressed - most of all a much quieter and more comfortable - calmly believe that the suspension was repaired :) I recommend and from now on I'll always drive on brand new tyres - maybe a little more expensive but certainly safer. As a concluding sentence, the tyre is fine, they are quiet and well stick in the corners, which I want to take quickly enough. As for depreciation are really cool, but our holes in the Polish roads offer us slides but it is not terrible on Continential. Overall I would recommend thet as they are really very good. For the price quality is 10 out of 10 ;) :) oh and they do something very important - they drain SUPER :D no loos of traction and throw. Of course, all this while preserving imagination and common sense. We know that nobody makes sense to drive 110 miles per hour in the wet :P but the 70 miles per hour and the rain is not terrible :) I will say this. I sincerely recommend these tyres. It was a good decision, and so will be yours :) Have a good trip and a good return home! Read more Collapse

I previously had Continentalach PREMIUM CONTACT 2 and I was very happy with them. When it was time for a change, I decided on the successor of these tyres and I do not regret the choice. The driving on these tyres is really comfortable, calm and the dry and wet conditions aren't any problem. I have a high profile 65 and the tyre flexed slightly under the rim (balloon effect), but that's nothing and it does not stop me driving on our roads plus I appreciate comfort of the appearance of the tyre. The tread has an additional marker that tells us when the tyre loses its performance in wet conditions. The braking on wet ground has never faild me with the ABS and on the routs with the water car is flowing confident. Tyres really to be recommend. Read more Collapse

The Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 tyres are the first set of tyres from this company. I used tyres bought by my parents before. When I became the owner of the vehicle, I decided to buy Continental tyres - they had very good reviews. I will say briefly: I was not disappointed! From the first mile I felt it was a hit. I am happy with them at all times and I would not say anything bad about them. Seriously! In addition, I know that in this or next winter period I will definitely also buy Continental tyres. If the summer did not disappoint me, I hope that the winter will also meet my expectations. By nature I try to be a perfectionist in everything I do, so the choice is clear: I buy Continental tyres! Very good tyre for all conditions. When driving in a puddle do not feel the resistance - so does the water. Very pleasant to drive, the car is very stable and predictable. Very well behaved on uneven ground - after the previous tyres, I am pleasantly surprised. The first impression I put on tyres is very good race track, I'm going on track, and I feel like I'm driving a hovercraft and not the car for comfort. Vehicle movements have become smooth, bouncing and throwing on the bumps feels like I’m sat in the car for a better class. The high speed in confidence and the noise is weak and does not interfere. I also have winter tyres from Continental, and in both cases I have nothing to complain about. Read more Collapse

I bought 4 tyres 1.5 years ago. Very pleasant tyre when it comes to its appearance. As for driving, very good grip on turns, does not even squeak. I have tested it many times. It drains water well. At high speeds of around 110 mph, nothing squeezes or throws up. I can manage car well, I can confirm it. No problem in the fitting station, they balanced the wheels. There were no problems. The only bad thing I can say about this tyre is that at 37 you can hear it lightly (but it depends on which asphalt I’m driving), but not as loud as, for example Dębica Navigator 2 or Barum. However, this is a small detail. Suppression of inequalities is good. Consumption is fine. I recommend this tyre. Read more Collapse

Before buying these tyres I have read a lot of reviews on the Internet, prevailed in the very good reviews about these tyres. In addition to buying this convinced me that the VW group uses standard tyres on their cars, which for me means that if such a big company trust them, so I too can. At first, I was a little worried about the price, but confident that the tyres are the only thing in the car that is in contact with the road, I decided not to safe the tyre or just try to find these tyres for the cheapest price. Cheap tyres are different - and sometimes unreliable. To date, these no name tyres have failed me, both fot being quiet during the trip and grip during emergency braking. Read more Collapse

I drove on these 12500 miles tyres in all conditions, so I can now say a little more about them. Purchased these tyres mainly because of their handling characteristics, and the selection was based primarily on tests (ADAC, etc.) Previously, I had summer ECO tyres (Goodyear efficentgrip), so my assessment formulate a comparison of these two models. I will be brief - in terms of driving pleasure - Superb behavior on the rain, curves, braking and pulling is perfect. The downward of these tyres are: volume and rolling resistance (increased combustion of ok.0, 3-0, 5 l / 62 miles. I recommend these tyres for all those who appreciate the above, safetiness, handling and prece. Read more Collapse

Recommend tyre. So far, I have used Goodyear and as far as the quality of use miles deteriorated with miles made, even if at first it was great - after about 15,000 miles. I will add that the tyres lasted 31000 miles. With Continental ContiPremiumContact 5 it is certainly better. It is perfectly predictable tyre proven on dry and wet roads. The more confident cornering compared to previously used tyres - better holding (by far). As for noise, it's probably a little quieter than the Goodyear. It’s juts my feeling, not the result of a measurement. I can’t judge the life of the tyres, because this is the beginning of using them (driven less than 6200 miles). Read more Collapse

Finnaly, I have no fears that I will fall out of any corner on wet surfaces. They are great for the road, and on a dry surface once I went into a sharp corner, the shock absorber bent so much that I covered the wheel with the wheel arch, and yet the car did not even get the slightest slip. They are quite quiet, and the fuels consumption on the road has dropped from 5.8 l to a hundred to 5.3 with similar driving and on the same route on these tires compared to previous Avon’s I had. I am very pleased and think that it was one of the better investments in my car and, above all, in my and my passengers' safety. I would highly recommend!!! . Read more Collapse

Super tyres. So far I have tested brands like Goodyear and Michelin, but this time I bet on Conti, based on the available opinions and I was not disappointed. The tyres perform well on both dry and wet surfaces. Already after a few days I had the opportunity to check them during a very heavy rain on the motorway - the car rode like glued to the road, despite the high speed. On dry asphalt it is very difficult to make them slip. Even a quick start does not cause tyres to be burnout. As for the tread ware I cannot say much, but it looks ok. It seems to me that they have less impact than my previous Goodyear at the same time. Read more Collapse

I've travelled about 7,5k this summer. A holiday trip to the total north of Sweden. In some parts, about 5k. No problems, great grip, even in difficult conditions. Compared to cold weather, which also have a continental, these summer ones are not heard at all. I recommend to anyone who chooses not only on the route around the city, but also in more difficult conditions. PS: The tyres survived the meeting with 9 elks and some 30 reindeers. 3 times I had to brake quite hard (not quite, but quite strongly) and the car stood properly in place, very quickly. I remember the previous tyres of another brand and it was not easy Read more Collapse

Very good suppression of irregularities and low noise, good traction and braking make the tire extremely good for our roads. Unfortunately, the tyre has very soft sides which translates into instability at higher speeds. At the higher profile (for me 195/60) I definitely do not recommend quick maneuvers at highway speeds. Drivers, however, recommend sports tyres with sport characteristics. On a similarly sized car (ford sierra 2.0) I have Yokohama S Drive on the lower profile (195/55) and they are light years more stable than Continentali. However, to the city and the holes in the suburban roads definitely yes! Read more Collapse

These tyres are one of the better I've ever had. They are quiet for such big tyres fitted to a heavy car. The car also runs very stably and confidently. I am not worried about the braking distance even on wet roads, on dry roads there is nothing to say, it's safe. Recently, I was braking "emergency" before the deer and managed. No slip on a rainy autumn day. I think I go a little on them. I have them for the first season and I have not noticed that they would wear off quickly, maybe it depends on the driving style. It's definitely the best tires I've used so far, worth every penny you spend on them. Read more Collapse

This season I had 2nd set of ContiPremiumContact tyres fitted. On the first one I travelled around 60K km and I was very pleased. I hope that the current one will last me or the new owner equally well. In my opinion, on a dry surface, each tyre is doing well, the difference starts with a wet one, and here Conti is very good for me. Before the season, something made me happy to set up used "NO NAME" tyres, but after less than a month I got pregnant with the second set of Continental, and the Chinese went away. I recommend to all who care about certain and predictable behaviour in all conditions. Read more Collapse

I needed a tyre for my front wheel drive beast with a powerful engine of 180 BHP. It was supposed to be great choice so I tried the Japanese T1R's. Well disappointed.. I decided to stick to well know European production. No any problem with aggressive and dynamic driving. On the slippery and wet roads (although I was expecting something a bit better), it properly sticks on the cornering and it can be stopped. After 8,000 km no signs of wear. In the future, I will try out ContiSportContact, somehow earlier I treated this brand as something a bit over budget. Read more Collapse

In every sensible test the tyre is in the top, so it's hard to find any defects. For years, the same concept and materials and everything works. IMHO - in the premium class inferior to the "undefined feeling" from Dunlop and more or less on a comparable level to Bridgestone Turanza. Compared to medium class tyres, which have already been passed a little (Barum, Vredestein, Uniroyal, Fulda, etc) - much better, though with some loses in some specific points (eg with RainExpert on deep potholes). They does beat the Michelin tyres are at a premium price. Read more Collapse

This is the second set of Continental tyres I have and I am very happy with them. Braking on both dry and wet surfaces is certain. The tire is very flexible and holds well on any asphalt surface. Unfortunately, this slightly translates into side grip of tyres when cornering is fast (very light feeling - no looseness in the suspension, the car was checked). Water drainage while driving in the rain revelation (you can see in the rearview mirror which cloud of water stays), which translates into a sense of confident driving. Continental ContiContact 5 205/55 R16 94 H in Passat B6 is a great tyre in every respect, the pleasure of traveling even on Polish roads . I do not judge the tread's wear because 24,000 km is too small a distance. I highly recommend these tyres and the seller. Loosing grip on a straight and dry surface while accelerating its over and also constantly wondering how they will behave on a long motorway journey. After converting the cost of buying good tyres for even just 4 seasons, there is no point saving us, the more so that the emergency braking distance at 60 km / h shortened by even a meter, can return the cost of acquiring good tyres :) Read more Collapse

Tyres worth their price. As a fitter I can honestly recommend them. Soft so you fitt them slightly (without the risk of scratching the aluminum rims). On the road, it's hard to squeak. No slip at medium speed (tested on wet). The noise can be taken away, because it also depends on the car and its damping. Fault-free (at least I did not happen to them after almost 10k km) and they are nice in themselves :).Regards. Read more Collapse

The tyres are very good, quiet and economical on water. They have a drawback is soft to the side causing no stability, especially in curves and turns. Volvo s40II is small and aggressive and fast this sense .This same applies to winter tyres that have Conti TS 850. I recommend this tyre if someone is not looking for savings but safety, especially on wet surfaces. It absorbs the vibrations very nicely, which makes the vibrations less noticeable and the suspension more durable. The only disadvantage is their quick abrasion, wear ... after one season, 12k miles has been 4.5mm tread. Read more Collapse

Great grip, especially in the wet, but relatively high wear alreadfy apparent after less than 10,000km. Also definitley NOT a tyre for any kind of off road driving, having become completely stuck in muddy grass with these ones. Read more Collapse

    Opinion from outside IE

Cons: durability, high price. I bought 4 pieces after about 2 weeks of use with steering wheel movements for earthquake foot to the right or left, the first service - the suspension has not raised objections, vulcan. We found that the four units, the sides of asymmetric waves emerged, which, when in contact with a surface clearly resembled bojle .... being advertised and the response week came from Continental .... ".. Ladies and Gentlemen, In response to your complaint to inform you that the tires were announced verification technique. Did he not have manufacturing defects that can cause malfunctions reported. Ont reported irregularities on the sides of tires is not a sign of damage to the tires, but they are involved in the process and are nothing more than a place to connect (tab) plies in the tire. manufacturer does not treat this as a default claim manufacturing is justified eligible complaints, because it is only a visual effect in any way nieumniejszający operational safety and usability of tires. Disadvantages product was not found. "I think whoever wrote that has serious vision problems and proposes that pojeździł some of these tires may change your mind. Do not buy - DAMAGE YOUR CASH AND NERVES. Read more Collapse
