I think this tyre is great. It sticks to the ground perfectly during fast turns on the steering wheel, during breaking with abs working I could pass the vehicle which immediately changed the lane. On wet surface they don't loose the grip at all, on dry it is obvious because those are Bridgestone RE050A. I was driving on some tyers received from my dealership before and they were also ahrd rubber but they didn't provide me with any grip at all. I was slipping on every occasion. This model restored my trust for hard rubber tyres. Despite the fact they are hard they providing perferct grip. To sum up- they are perfect for aggressive driving on dry and also wet surface. I bought Bridgestone RE050A tyres to my Audi A3 Sportback few months ago. What can I say ? The tyres in normal profile 40 provides excellent traction on dry, wet surfaces and in a corners. My previous winter tyres in profile 45 were less predictable. The Bridgestone RE050A tyres behave great on dry surfaces during hot days. Similarly on wet surfaces during cloudy and rainy days. As for the price / performance ratio, they are doing very well. I traveled about 2,000 miles with a large middle class estate on them. In my Vectra I've had original tyres by size 215/55R16H- Bridgestone as well. In the new size 205 I've chosen Bridgestone RE050A. Behaviour on the road: precisely, stable- great handling. There is no understeering risk, the reaction for moving the dteering wheel is immediate. The steering wheel is really stable, no shimming or floating. Good grip on wet, I wouldn't expect something like that. In terms of comfort subjectively I would say is is even better than my previous tyres. My car stopped "moving" in high speeds, no floating. The Bridgestone RE050A tyres very good dampen minor irregularities well and they are very durable. I have done about 10000 miles on them and there are absolutely no wear signs. They provide comfortable driving. Even in sharp corners you still feel confident. The tyres perform well in bouth dry and wet condition. The only drawback that average fuel consumption of car more than about 1.5 liters per 60 miles. I drove about 6000 miles on the tyres fitted as standard equpiment . That was the Bridgestone Blizzak winter tyres and I was very happy with these tyres so I decide to buy Bridgestone RE050A for summer season. I have a car with a sport suspension. I like very fast, sporty drive on the highway with speed 130 mph and this tyre will never let you down no matter how fast you drive. I do not think I've ever bought other car tires - Bridgestone RE050A only! On dry and wet grip is excellent- no slipping or aquaplaning.My suspension is pretty hard and it gives a strong feeling of every singe hole, but fortunately I do not use the car in the city so I'm not worried. I wondered over another brand, but I decidet to go for Bridgestone RE050A and would recommend these tyres.In fact they are not too quiet but safety and driving comfort are great.I'm using these tyres for 3rd season in the size 275/35/18 and I wouldn't change them to other make.The tread wear depends on your driving style mainly. Excellent tires! I had a Dunlop SP Sport 9000 and it was very good but there is still Potenza RE050A better. For dry and wet asphalt incredible grip. The tyre is pretty hard and has rather sporty look and performance. They are perfect on dry- much joy from driving. Really sticky. It warms quickly. Really good tyre, Bridgestone RE050A is one of the best I've had so far.The main advantage is that it doesn't wear quickly. In terms of durability Bridgestone RE050A is the best in my view.
