When I bought it second hand Kawasaki RE5, he had mounted Maxxis tires. I had serious concerns about the quality of the brand with established brands only used as Bridgestone, Metzeler, Pirelli and Continental. After nearly 5,000 miles on the tires that the bike came with I must say I am impressed and had no worries about fitting other Maxxis rear. I do not know how many miles the tire did before she needed replaced but it looked good carry and had over 5000 miles on it. The front tire has over 5,000 remain, I recon before it must be replaced. Tires are stable cornering and heavy braking, and are good in the wet. I rode in the snow and ice and rain, no worries.
