Anakee Road is a new addition to the French company's Michelin flagship motorbike tyre range. The products in this series are known especially for their off-road representatives, Adventure and Wild. The Road model is designed for long mileage for adventure class motorbikes, which have more weight and a higher centre of gravity. Compared to the previous generation of tyres used mainly on roads, but which allow descents from asphalt to gravel trails – in the Anakee III, wet traction has been improved to the greatest extent. The extended mileage on this tyre is also noteworthy. This is due to the durable compound in the central part of the tread. Good handling and cornering grip are provided by the more adherent rubber placed on the tyre shoulders.
Stability in all conditions is also guaranteed by the tread pattern, which ensures that water is adequately drained away from under the wheels.
Key technologies:
2CT+ – Anakee Road is an adventure class model constructed with dual tread technology on both the front and rear of the motorbike;
Silica – a large amount of silica ensures that on wet asphalt the motorbike will maintain strong handling and grip;
Radial – X evo – special layering giving greater flexibility and comfort while maintaining stability;
Aramid shield – the aramid fibres used in the tread allow resistance and stability to be maintained while reducing the weight of the tyre, performing well even at high speeds and high temperatures;
Premium touch design – a solution that emphasises the aesthetics of the product through the deep black and velvety look of the side wall elements.
