Maxxis developed the Supermaxx M6029 touring tyre so as to adapt to modern high performance sports bikes. Virtual Intelligent Prototyping and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) up-to-date computer technology was used.
FEA determines the tyre use under stress/load conditions; therefore, consistent load distribution between cornering and straight line racing is delivered. As a result, even distribution of load is provided at maximum stress levels under force gaining rapid, controlled feedback at the same time.
The Supermaxx touring tyre, which features an extraordinary profile, delivers responsive handling and stability to gain quick and precise cornering. Kevlar belts were applied in the innovative radial construction to guarantee tyre integrity at high speeds.
Rear Maxxis Supermaxx, which is a full radial carcass, features a mono-spiral, zero degree kevlar belt. Precise handling through sturdy stability and maximum lean angle cornering has been obtained due to the front tyre, which includes a full width kevlar belt. Enhanced stability at high speed performance on heavier sport touring bikes as well as balanced contact patch on roads are delivered by these sturdy, ultra-lightweight kevlar belts. Awesome wet road performance is ensured by the highly adhesive compound and aggressive drainage pattern.
