Information on the tyre label

The tyre label provides information on three basic tyre parameters:

Fuel efficiency - rolling resistance, i.e. the effect on fuel consumption, expressed on a seven-point scale from the highest rating of A to the lowest of E.

Breaking distance on wet surfaces - Class A designates the shortest braking distances on a wet road, while E is for the longest. This parameter describes the wet grip of the tyre, which is important for safe driving. The higher the class, the better the tyre's properties.

External noise - Calss A is reserved for the quietest tyres, whilst B and C are for the louder ones. The value of the amount of noise generated is given in decibels (dB). This indicator translates into driving comfort.
